1. Introduction

Congratulations on your purchase of the SilverCrest Automatic Air Fryer! This appliance is designed to provide a healthier way to cook your favorite foods, using hot air circulation to achieve crispy results with little to no oil. 2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the air fryer and all its components from the packaging.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Ensure all plastic bags, foam, and other packaging materials are removed from inside and outside the appliance.
  3. Clean Components: Wash the removable basket and crisper plate with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
  4. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10-15 cm (4-6 inches) of clear space around the back and sides of the appliance for proper ventilation.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  6. Initial Run (Optional): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor may be present, which is normal.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel and LED Display

The air fryer features an intuitive touch screen panel and LED display for easy operation. Refer to the diagram below for button identification:

  • (1) On/off button: Powers the appliance on or off.

  2. Insert Basket: Slide the basket firmly into the main unit of the air fryer.
  3. Power On: Press the On/off button (1) to turn on the appliance. The LED display will illuminate.
  4. Select Cooking Mode:
    • Using Smart Menu Presets: Touch the icon corresponding to the food you are cooking (e.g., Chips, Chicken). The air fryer will automatically set a recommended temperature and time.
    • Using Manual Mode: Press the Manual button (6). Then, use the Temperature button (2) and Timer button (3) to adjust the desired cooking temperature and time.
  5. Start Cooking: Once the settings are confirmed, the air fryer will begin the cooking process automatically after a few seconds, or you may need to press the On/off button again to start.
  6. Shake/Flip Food: For many foods, especially fries or smaller items, it is recommended to shake the basket halfway through the cooking time for even browning. Carefully pull out the basket, shake, and reinsert. The air fryer will resume cooking.
  7. Cooking Complete: The air fryer will beep when the cooking time is complete. Carefully pull out the basket and remove the food.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
