9. User Tips
- Microphone Choice: If you primarily use a full-face helmet, the 'Soft Mic' option is generally more flexible and comfortable. For open-face or modular helmets, a 'Hard Mic' might offer better stability. The '2-in-1 Mic' provides versatility for different helmet types.
- Noise Reduction Effectiveness: For optimal noise cancellation, ensure the microphone is positioned correctly and not obstructed by helmet padding or wind. The CVC+DSP technology works best when the microphone is close to your mouth.
- Intercom Range: While the device boasts a 1500m range for mesh networking, actual range can be affected by terrain, obstacles (buildings, dense trees), and other radio interference. Maintain line-of-sight for best performance.
- Music Sharing: When sharing music, ensure all participating devices are within the 500m effective range for a stable connection.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
