4. Setup
4.1 Installing the Batteries
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the handset.
- Open the battery compartment cover.

4.2 Connecting the Base Unit
- Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the LINE port on the base unit.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Call Functions
- Making a Call:
- Press the Talk/Green button.
- Dial the desired phone number using the keypad.
- Press the End/Red button to end the call.
- Answering a Call: When the phone rings, press the Talk/Green button.
- Ending a Call: Press the End/Red button or place the handset back on the base/cradle.
- Redial: Press the R/CLR button to redial the last number called.
5.2 Volume Control
Use the Up/Down arrow buttons on the side of the handset during a call to adjust the earpiece volume. The base unit may also have volume controls for the speakerphone function.

5.3 Boost Function (AMP)
Press the AMP button on the side of the handset during a call to activate the audio boost function, increasing the earpiece volume for users with hearing difficulties.
5.4 One-Touch Memory Keys (M1, M2, M3)
The handset features three one-touch memory keys (M1, M2, M3) for quick dialing of frequently used numbers. To program these keys, refer to the detailed instructions in the full manual. Once programmed, simply press the desired memory key to dial the stored number.
