5. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the welding machine and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit.
  2. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area, away from moisture, dust, and direct sunlight. Ensure there is sufficient space around the machine for cooling air circulation.
  3. Power Connection:
    • Identify the correct input voltage for your model (Single phase AC220V, Single phase AC380V, or Three phase AC380V).
    • Connect the power cable to the appropriate power supply. Ensure the power supply matches the machine's voltage requirements and is properly grounded.
    • The machine features an ultra-wide network voltage adaptation range (140V-510V), but always strive for stable power input within the specified range.
  4. Welding Cable Connection:
    • Insert the quick plugs of the welding cables into the corresponding positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the front panel of the machine. Twist to secure.
    • Connect the electrode holder to one cable and the work clamp (ground clamp) to the other.
    • Attach the work clamp securely to the workpiece, ensuring good electrical contact.
  5. Electrode Selection: Choose an electrode with a diameter suitable for your welding task and material. The machine supports various electrode diameters, and its unified adjustment feature helps match welding parameters.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Flip the main power switch on the rear panel to the "ON" position. The digital display on the front panel will illuminate.
  2. Set Welding Current: Use the control knob on the front panel to adjust the welding current (Amperage) according to the electrode size and material thickness. Refer to the display for the current setting.
  3. Start Welding:
    • Position the electrode at the starting point of the weld.
    • Strike an arc by lightly touching the electrode to the workpiece and quickly lifting it slightly to establish the arc.
    • Maintain a consistent arc length and travel speed for a smooth weld bead.
    • The machine's "Long line adaptive thrust" ensures stable arc performance even with extended welding cables.
  4. Monitor Performance: The intelligent fan system will operate to cool the machine during use, reducing noise and extending component life.
  5. Power Off: After welding, turn off the machine using the main power switch. Disconnect welding cables and store them properly.
