Setup

1. Battery Installation

  2. Insert the battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
  3. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

Warning:

  • Do not use batteries not provided by TrustFire to avoid damaging the battery or flashlight.
  • 14500 batteries are industrial batteries, not safe civilian batteries. Poor quality or improperly used batteries (short circuit, high temperature, etc.) may burn or explode, endangering personal and property safety.
  • Using high-quality lithium-ion batteries with protection plates can reduce the risk of certain operations. It is recommended to use TrustFire series batteries.
  • Alkaline/NiMH batteries can be used, but charging in the flashlight is not allowed when using these battery types.

  2. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the battery's USB-C port and to a suitable USB power source.

Applications

The 365nm UV light is versatile for various detection purposes:

  • Banknote and Document Verification: Can be used to check security features on currency, passports, and other official documents.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
  • O-rings: Periodically check the O-rings for wear and tear. Replace them if damaged to maintain the IPX8 waterproof rating. Lubricate O-rings with silicone grease if needed.
  • Battery Care: If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
  • Waterproof Rating: The L2S-SE-UV is IPX8 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. Ensure the tail cap is securely tightened before exposing it to water.
