6. Setup and Installation

6.1. System Connection Overview

The ANENJI LiFePO4 battery is designed to integrate into various energy systems. A typical setup involves connecting the battery to a BP Inverter, which manages power flow from sources like solar panels, the utility grid, or a generator, and distributes it to home loads.

The BP Inverter connects to the ANENJI LiFePO4 Battery and Home Loads (e.g., refrigerator, TV, microwave). Monitoring is available via cube wifi/GPRS, PV butler WEB, and PV butler APP.

6.2. Parallel Connection

For increased energy capacity, up to 15 ANENJI battery units can be connected in parallel. Ensure all batteries are of the same model and charged to similar voltage levels before connecting in parallel. Use the provided battery communication parallel ports for proper synchronization.

6.3. Physical Installation

The battery can be installed using wall brackets, suitable for various locations such as touring cars or exterior walls of buildings. Ensure the installation location is dry, well-ventilated, and within the specified operating temperature range.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1. Powering On/Off

Use the ON/OFF switch (Item 3 on interface diagrams) to control the battery's output. The display screen (Item 2) will show real-time battery status.

7.2. Monitoring Battery Status

The liquid crystal LED display on the front panel allows you to monitor battery status at any time. Key information displayed includes voltage (Vapck), State of Charge (SOC), current (Curr), and temperature (Temp).

7.3. Bluetooth and Communication

The battery supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to monitor detailed information of the battery bank via a dedicated mobile application (PV butler APP). Standard RS485 and RS232 communication interfaces are also available for integration with other systems and upper computer monitoring.

8. Maintenance

  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check the battery terminals for corrosion and ensure all connections are secure.
  • Cleaning: Keep the battery clean and free from dust and debris. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Temperature Management: Ensure the battery operates within the specified temperature ranges for charging and discharging to maximize lifespan.
  • Storage: If storing the battery for extended periods, refer to the storage temperature ranges in the specifications section (Table 5.2) and ensure it is stored at an appropriate State of Charge (SOC).

9. Troubleshooting

  • Battery Not Powering On: Check the power switch (Item 3 on interface diagrams) and ensure it is in the 'ON' position. Verify all power cables are securely connected.
  • Fault Light (Item 6 on ANJ-300AH-PX interface) / Warning Indicator (Item 10 on ANJ-200AH-PX interface) is On: This indicates an issue detected by the BMS. Possible causes include over-voltage, over-load, or over-temperature. Check the display screen for specific error codes or warnings. Disconnect loads and allow the battery to cool down if an over-temperature warning is present.
  • No Display on Screen: Ensure the battery is powered on. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
  • Communication Issues: Verify that communication cables are correctly connected to the appropriate ports (RS485, RS232, CAN). Ensure the mobile app or upper computer software is correctly configured and updated.

10. User Tips

  • Balance Function: The built-in balance function helps maintain cell voltage consistency, extending battery life.
  • Storage History: Utilize the storage history function (via communication interfaces) to track battery performance over time.
  • High Efficiency: The battery boasts ≥96% efficiency, ensuring minimal energy loss during operation.
  • Parallel Expansion: Plan your energy needs and consider utilizing the parallel connection capability to scale your system as required, up to 15 units.
