It functions as both a Bluetooth transmitter (TX) and a Bluetooth receiver (RX), allowing you to wirelessly connect your audio sources to Bluetooth-enabled output devices, or vice versa. Featuring a high-definition color LED display, HiFi stereo sound, and multipoint connectivity, this adapter offers a seamless and high-quality wireless audio solution for your TV, PC, car, and even aircraft entertainment systems.

Note: If you purchased the "With AP Converter" set, an "Aircraft Audio Converter" will also be included. Otherwise, it is not part of the standard package.

4. Setup and Pairing

The C83Plus adapter offers simple three-step connection for both receiving (RX) and transmitting (TX) modes.

4.1. Basic Connection Steps

1. Step 1: Power On and Select Mode
   Press and hold the multifunction key to turn on the device. The device will display the current mode (RX or TX) and battery level. Use the mode switch button (often labeled 'M' or similar) to toggle between RX (Receive) and TX (Transmit) modes as needed.
2. Step 2: Pairing
   The adapter will automatically enter pairing mode. The LED display will show 'C83Plus' and search for nearby devices.
3. Step 3: Enjoy Your Music
   Once successfully paired, you can enjoy your music journey.

4.2. RX (Receiver) Mode Setup

In RX mode, the adapter receives Bluetooth audio from your phone/tablet and outputs it to a wired speaker, car stereo, or headphones.

1. Ensure the C83Plus is in RX mode.
2. Insert the 3.5mm AUX audio interface of the C83Plus into the AUX input of your wired speaker, car stereo, or wired headphones.
3. On your mobile phone or tablet, open Bluetooth settings and search for "C83Plus". Select it to connect.
4. Once connected, audio from your phone will play through the connected wired device.

4.2.1. Connecting Two Mobile Phones (RX Mode)

In RX mode, the C83Plus supports connecting to two mobile phones simultaneously:

1. Connect the first mobile phone as described above. The display will show the first phone's name (e.g., 'A: BT-OM5-AIRPLUS').
2. After the first phone is successfully connected, connect the second mobile phone. The display will show the second phone's name (e.g., 'B: BT-SW-28').
3. You can switch music playback between the two connected phones at will.

4.3. TX (Transmitter) Mode Setup

In TX mode, the adapter transmits audio from non-Bluetooth devices (like TVs, PCs) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

1. Ensure the C83Plus is in TX mode.
2. Insert the 3.5mm AUX audio interface of the C83Plus into the audio output jack of your TV, PC, projector, or other audio source.
3. Turn on your Bluetooth headphones or speaker and put them into pairing mode.
4. The C83Plus will actively search for nearby Bluetooth devices and display their pairing names on the LED screen.
5. Select the desired device from the list on the C83Plus by pressing the multifunction key to confirm.
6. Once connected, audio from your source device will play through your Bluetooth headphones/speaker.

4.3.1. Connecting Two Bluetooth Headphones/Speakers (TX Mode)

In TX mode, the C83Plus supports connecting to two Bluetooth headphones or speakers simultaneously:

1. Connect the first Bluetooth headset/speaker as described above.
2. After the first device is successfully connected, press the multifunction key to enter the active search interface.
3. Select the second wireless device from the list and press the multifunction key to confirm.
4. The name of the second wireless device will be displayed on the screen after successful connection.

4.3.2. Using with Aircraft Entertainment Systems

For an enhanced travel experience, the C83Plus can be used with aircraft entertainment systems.

1. If your aircraft seat has a dual-pin audio jack, use the optional Aircraft Audio Converter (if purchased) to adapt the C83Plus's 3.5mm jack.
2. Insert the C83Plus (with or without converter) into the headphone jack of your seat.
3. Ensure the C83Plus is in TX mode.
4. Pair your Bluetooth headphones with the C83Plus as described in the TX mode setup.
5. Enjoy the in-flight entertainment wirelessly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Mode Switching

The C83Plus features a dedicated button (usually labeled 'M' or a similar icon) to switch between RX (Receiver) and TX (Transmitter) modes. Press this button briefly to toggle between modes. The LED display will indicate the current mode.

5.2. Hands-Free Calling (RX Mode Only)

When the C83Plus is in RX mode and connected to your mobile phone, its built-in HD microphone allows for hands-free calling.

• Answer a call: Short press the multifunction key.
• Refuse a call: Long press the multifunction key during an incoming call.
• Hang up: Short press the multifunction key during a call.

Note: The microphone function is only supported in RX (Receiver) mode. TX (Transmitter) mode does not support microphone input.

5.3. Lyrics Display (RX Mode Only)

In RX mode, the C83Plus can display synchronized English lyrics on its LED screen.

• This feature only supports music with English lyrics.
• The music file being played must contain embedded English lyrics.
• TX mode does not support lyrics display.

5.4. Active Search (TX Mode)

When in TX mode, the C83Plus can actively scan for and display nearby Bluetooth audio devices, making pairing more intuitive.

To use this feature, ensure the device is in TX mode. It will automatically scan and list available devices on its LED screen for you to select.

5.5. Using with TV/PC

Upgrade your TV or PC to wireless functionality by connecting the C83Plus in TX mode.

Connect the C83Plus to your TV/PC's audio output, then pair your Bluetooth headphones or speakers to enjoy audio without disturbing others.

6. Maintenance and Charging

6.1. Charging the Device

The C83Plus has a built-in 250mAh rechargeable lithium polymer battery. Use the provided Type-C charging cable to charge the device.

• Charging Time: Approximately 2 hours for a full charge.
• Recommended Charger: Use a DC 5V/1A charger to protect the battery life.

6.2. Cleaning and Storage

• Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.

7. Troubleshooting

Device won't turn on:

Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to a power source using the Type-C cable and try again.

Cannot pair with a device:

• Ensure the C83Plus is in the correct mode (RX for receiving, TX for transmitting).
• Make sure the target device (phone, headphones, speaker) is in pairing mode.
• Move the devices closer to each other (within 10 meters).
• Turn off and on both the C83Plus and the target device.
• In TX mode, use the active search feature to manually select the device.

No audio or poor sound quality:

• Check if both devices are successfully paired and connected.
• Ensure the 3.5mm AUX cable is securely plugged into both the C83Plus and the audio source/output device.
• Adjust the volume on both the C83Plus and the connected audio device.
• If in TX mode with two devices, ensure they are of the same audio format encoding for best results. Note that audio latency may be amplified in dual mode.
• Ensure the audio source is playing.

Lyrics not displaying:

• This feature only works in RX mode.
• Ensure the music file contains embedded English lyrics.
• The feature does not support other languages.

Microphone not working:

The microphone function is only supported in RX (Receiver) mode for hands-free calling. It is not supported in TX (Transmitter) mode.
