6. Wiring Diagram
Proper wiring is crucial for the safe and effective operation of the protective device. Refer to the diagram below for connecting the protector to your electrical circuit.

Figure 5: Standard Wiring Diagram
Wiring Steps:
- Connect the incoming Neutral (N) and Live (L) wires to the 'IN' terminals of the protective device.
- Connect the outgoing Neutral (N) and Live (L) wires from the 'OUT' terminals of the protective device to your electrical load.
- It is recommended to install a circuit breaker (e.g., GEYA GTM10 C16) upstream of the protective device for additional safety and isolation.
Note:
- Under DC power, only the voltage is displayed; current is not shown.
- Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent loose contacts and overheating.
7. Operation
7.1 Setting Parameters
To enter the setting mode, long press the SET button for 5 seconds. Once in the SET state, use the ▲ (UP) and ▼ (DOWN) buttons to modify the desired parameters. Press the SET button again to save the changes and exit the setting mode.
To quickly adjust values for longer periods, press and hold either the ▲ or ▼ button.

- The initial password is
112. - If the lock parameter is changed, the password may be reset. To unlock, restore the parameter to the initial password (
112).
8. Troubleshooting
- Fault Light On: If the fault indicator (
>V,<V, or>A) is illuminated, it indicates an active protection event (overvoltage, undervoltage, or overcurrent). Check the circuit for the cause of the fault. - Device in Protection Mode: If the device is in protection mode and not automatically recovering, check the recovery delay settings (P-2, P-4, P-6) and ensure the fault condition has cleared. If manual recovery is enabled, you may need to manually reset the device.
- No Display/Incorrect Readings: Verify the power supply to the device. Ensure wiring connections are secure. If using DC power, note that current/power display is disabled.
- Parameters Cannot Be Changed: Check if the setting lock (P-19) is active. Enter the correct password to unlock and modify parameters.
9. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the device for any physical damage or loose connections.
- Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris to ensure proper ventilation and operation.
- Ensure the operating environment adheres to the specified ambient temperature and humidity ranges.
- For any complex issues or repairs, contact qualified personnel or GEYA customer support.
10. User Tips
- Initial Setup: Always set your desired over-voltage, under-voltage, and over-current protection values (P-3, P-5, P-9) carefully according to your specific circuit requirements before putting the device into full operation.
- Recovery Delays: Utilize the recovery delay settings (P-2, P-4, P-6) to prevent rapid on/off cycling of your equipment during transient fault conditions, which can extend equipment lifespan.
- Password Protection: Use the password setting (P-19) to prevent unauthorized changes to critical protection parameters, especially in shared or public installations.
- Energy Saving: Enable the energy-saving mode (P-18) to reduce display brightness when the device is inactive, contributing to lower power consumption.
