2. Safety Information

  • Do not operate the dash cam while driving. Adjust settings only when the vehicle is safely parked.

4. Product Overview

5. Setup Instructions

5.1. Memory Card Installation

  1. Ensure the dash cam is powered off.
  2. Insert a Class 10 or higher speed Micro SD card (up to 256GB) into the designated slot until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card until it pops out.

5.2. Mounting the Dash Cam

  1. Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the dash cam.
  2. Attach the mounting bracket to the dash cam.
  3. Securely attach the dash cam with the bracket to the windshield, ensuring a clear view of the road.

5.3. Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided Type-C power cable to the dash cam's power port.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cable into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket or a suitable USB power source.
  3. Route the cable neatly to avoid obstructing your view or vehicle controls.

5.4. Rear Camera Connection (Optional)

  1. Connect the rear camera cable to the rear camera input port on the main dash cam unit.
  2. Mount the rear camera on your rear windshield, ensuring a clear view.
  3. Route the cable discreetly along the vehicle's interior.

5.5. Initial Power On & GPS

Once connected to power, the dash cam will automatically turn on and begin recording. The built-in GPS will automatically acquire satellite signals to record driving routes, locations, and speed data. Ensure the dash cam has a clear view of the sky for optimal GPS performance.

5.6. App Connection (5.8GHz WiFi)

  1. Download the AZDOME APP from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. On the dash cam, enable WiFi (can be done via voice command: "Turn on WiFi").
  3. On your smartphone, connect to the dash cam's 5.8GHz WiFi network.
  4. Open the AZDOME APP to view live footage, transfer files, and adjust settings. Keep your phone within 10ft of the dash cam for optimal transfer speeds.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Basic Recording (Loop Recording)

The dash cam automatically starts recording when powered on. It records video in continuous loops, overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full. Important footage can be locked manually or automatically by the G-Sensor to prevent overwriting.

6.2. Smart Voice Control

The AZDOME M360 supports various voice commands for hands-free operation. Speak clearly to the dash cam to execute commands.

6.3. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

To enable continuous parking surveillance, the dash cam requires connection to a hardwire kit (sold separately). The parking monitor offers:

  • Collision Detection: Records footage if an impact is detected while parked (G-sensor sensitivity is adjustable).
  • Time-lapse Record: Records at 1/2/5 frames per second to save storage space while providing continuous coverage.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Memory Card Formatting

It is recommended to format the Micro SD card regularly (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. This can usually be done through the dash cam's settings menu or via the AZDOME APP.

7.2. Cleaning

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam's lenses and screen. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7.3. Firmware Updates

Periodically check the AZDOME official website or APP for available firmware updates. Keeping your dash cam's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance and access to new features.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Dash cam not turning on: Check the power connection. Ensure the vehicle's power outlet is functioning.
  • Recording issues: Ensure a Class 10 or higher Micro SD card is inserted and formatted. The card might be full or corrupted.
  • WiFi connection unstable: Ensure your phone is within 10 feet of the dash cam. Restart both the dash cam and your phone.
  • GPS not tracking: Ensure the dash cam has a clear view of the sky. It may take a few minutes to acquire satellites.
  • Voice control not responding: Speak clearly and ensure there is minimal background noise.
  • Parking monitor not working: Verify that a hardwire kit is correctly installed and connected. Check G-sensor sensitivity settings.
