10. User Tips
- RAM Configuration: When purchasing a 16GB RAM version, it is generally configured as 2x 8GB modules for dual-channel performance. For optimal performance, ensure RAM is installed in dual-channel mode if upgrading.
- Barebones vs. Pre-configured: If you opt for the 'NO RAM NO SSD NO OS' version, remember to factor in the cost and effort of purchasing and installing these components yourself. Windows activation codes are not provided with barebones units.
- Initial Setup: To streamline the initial Windows setup, consider disconnecting from the internet (both Wi-Fi and LAN) and selecting the 'skip option' for registration. This can prevent potential delays or issues with personal account login during the first boot.
- Cooling: The advanced cooling system is designed for sustained performance. Ensure adequate airflow around the device, especially when operating in Performance mode, to maintain optimal temperatures.
