5.3 Parallel Connection

6. Operating Instructions

Once installed, the Dyness B4850 module can operate in various modes depending on your energy management system and preferences.

  • Mode I: Spontaneous Self-Use Mode
    The energy produced by the PV system is used to optimize self-consumption. Excess energy charges the batteries, then exports to the grid.
  • Mode II: Load First Mode
    When there is no PV generation, and the battery is sufficient, it can supply the load together with grid power.
  • Mode III: Battery First Mode
    When grid fails, the system automatically switches to Back-Up mode. The Back-Up load can be supported by PV and battery.
  • Mode IV: Timed Charging and Discharging Mode
    Battery can be charged by grid, and charging time/power can be set flexibly on the PV Master APP.

7. Maintenance and Storage
