- Enable the GPS module function through the DVR menu options.
- Install the DVR on the car and start recording. Drive outdoors for a certain distance. The GPS module will automatically capture satellite signals, and the DVR will record video with the GPS driving track.
Video Playback of GPS Tracks
- Install the GPS dedicated video player "GX Player" on your computer. Download it from: http://www.sunningsoft.com/en/pcgps.html
- Open the recorded DVR video with GPS track information on your computer using "GX Player" to play back the GPS driving track.
4.6. 24-Hour Parking Monitoring (Optional)
If you need the 24-hour parking monitoring function, you can order the corresponding Buck Line accessories to replace the car charger. Through the Buck Line, the DVR can draw power directly from the car battery or car ACC, allowing it to maintain normal recording even when the car is turned off.

Image: Diagram showing the dash cam with a 'Buck Line' connection for 24-hour parking monitoring, motion detection, collision detection, and time-lapse.
Attention: Installation of the Buck Line is not recommended for self-installation due to varying car battery/ACC interfaces. It is recommended to seek professional installation.
Video Time Lapse

Image: Chart explaining video time lapse. Changing from 30 frames per second to 1 frame per second allows a 16GB SD card to store 24 hours of video, compared to 1.5 hours for normal video.
Attention: The time-lapse video function requires the Buck Line with delay function.
5. Maintenance
- Memory Card: Regularly format your TF card to ensure optimal performance and prevent "File Error" issues. Use genuine Class 10 high-speed cards.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures. Automatic shutdown may occur if the operating environment exceeds 158°F.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device and lenses. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or the Viidure APP for any available firmware updates to improve performance and add new features.
6. Troubleshooting (Frequently Asked Questions)
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| The device shows the prompt "File Error" | Go to Settings Menu -> Restore Factory Settings and format the memory card. This problem is usually related to the TF card. |
| Horizontal stripe interference appears on the screen | Please select the correct power supply frequency of 50HZ (PAL). |
| How to correctly enable the 24-hour parking monitoring function | Do not enable it during normal driving, as it may easily cause automatic shutdown or crash. It only needs to be enabled after parking. Please configure a step-down cable (Buck Line) or a mobile power supply. |
| The image captured at night is not clear enough | The dash cam relies on strong external light sources (such as street lights and car lights) for shooting, which is common in the industry. |
| The device always reverts to the default date and time | Charge the device fully when it is turned off. You can use a car charger or a mobile power supply to recharge it. |
| What causes missing seconds in video files | Turn off the motion detection recording and ensure the loop recording function is on. For self-prepared memory cards, use genuine Class 10 high-speed cards. |
| Why does the device shut down automatically suddenly during recording | Turn off the parking monitoring function first. Automatic shutdown may also occur if the temperature of the use environment exceeds 158°F. |
Note: Practice has proved that most problems are related to the memory card, and a small number are related to the power cable.
