4. Setup
- **Charge the Device:** Before first use, fully charge the FM02 using the provided Type-C charging cable. The display will indicate battery level.
- **Prepare Fog Liquid:** Unscrew the atomizing chamber and carefully fill it with the Ulanzi fog juice.
- **First-Time Use (Oil Chamber Priming):** When using the oil chamber for the first time, after filling, leave the silicone plug open for 3 minutes. This allows the cotton inside to fully absorb the liquid, ensuring smooth oil flow and optimal performance.
- **Secure Chamber:** Ensure the oil chamber is securely attached to the device to prevent any leakage or malfunction during operation.
- **Attach Accessories:** Depending on your desired effect, attach the sponge filter, flex hose, or straight tube to the fog machine's output nozzle.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- To turn on, push the Power Toggle Switch (2) up. The indicator will turn green.
- To turn off, push the Power Toggle Switch (2) down. The indicator will turn red.
5.2 Selecting Smoke Modes
The FM02 offers three distinct smoke modes:
- **Mist Mode:** For a light, atmospheric vibe.
- **Dense Fog Mode:** For dramatic and heavy effects.
- **Dry Ice Mode:** For a unique, low-lying smoky touch.
Short press the Mode Switch Button (1) to cycle through Mist, Dense Fog, and Dry Ice modes. The selected mode will be shown on the display (4).

5.3 Spraying Smoke
- **Momentary Spray:** Hold down the Spray Button (3) to start spraying. Release the button to stop.
- **Continuous Spray:** Double-click the Spray Button (3) to activate continuous spraying. Press the button once more to stop continuous spraying.
5.4 Cooling Mode
When the fog machine stops emitting, long press the Mode Switch Button (1) to activate cooling mode. For every 1 second of wait time, cooling mode restores 2 seconds of spray time faster, optimizing the device for continuous use.
5.5 Wireless Control
The FM02 supports wireless control up to 10 meters, allowing you to trigger smoke effects remotely for precise timing in your shots.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Oil Chamber Care
- **Regular Inspection:** If the oil chamber has been in use for more than 3 months, it may show signs of wear. Consider replacing it to maintain optimal performance and prevent issues.
- **Preventing Leakage:** The oil chamber features a connected design. Always ensure the silicone plug is closed immediately after refilling to prevent liquid leakage.
6.2 Cleaning
- **Air Vents:** Periodically wipe the bottom air vents with a soft tissue to remove any residue.
- **Excess Liquid:** If you notice excess liquid, turn the chamber upside down and gently shake it to release any trapped liquid.
- **General Cleaning:** Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

7.1 Oil Chamber Overheat Warning
- **First Use Priming:** When using the oil chamber for the first time, let it sit for 3 minutes with the silicone plug open after filling it with atomizing liquid. This allows the cotton to fully absorb the liquid and ensures smooth oil flow.
- **Secure Chamber:** Make sure the oil chamber is securely fastened to prevent any leakage or malfunction.
- **Chamber Lifespan:** If the oil chamber has been in use for more than 3 months, it may be worn out and should be replaced to maintain optimal performance.
7.2 Spitting or Spraying Oil During Use
- **Refilling Temperature:** Do not refill the oil chamber while it's hot. Opening the silicone plug at high temperatures can cause excess liquid to flow into the chamber, leading to oil spitting or leakage.
- **Excess Liquid Release:** After sealing the silicone plug, turn the device upside down and gently shake it to release any excess liquid through the outlet.
- **Cooling/Alternating Chambers:** For best performance, allow the chamber to cool before refilling, or consider alternating between two chambers to maintain consistent fog output.
7.3 Oil Leaking from the Bottom of the Chamber
- **Secure Plug:** The oil chamber features a connected design, so always close the silicone plug immediately after refilling to prevent liquid from leaking.
