4. Setup
4.1 Handle Orientation
The SEASIR DCAST DC reel is available in both left-hand and right-hand retrieve models. To determine your reel's orientation:
- Hold the reel with the exposed spool and the line guide at the 12 o'clock position, facing you.
- If the handle is on your left side, it is a left-handed reel.
- If the handle is on your right side, it is a right-handed reel.
4.2 Spool Installation

5.1 Braking Force Adjustment
