3. Key Features

  • DCAST Digital Control System: Utilizes an innovative electromagnetic architecture with internal sensor chips and AI intelligent algorithms for precise magnetic force control. The spool generates current during operation, eliminating the need for an external power supply.

  • Smart Long Cast: A built-in high-precision sensor detects the spool's rotation speed, bait weight, and flight speed. This data is used to match the optimal electromagnetic strength, achieving greater casting distance and stability, suitable for both beginners and professional anglers.

  • Brass Main Gear & Dual Bearing Support System: The brass main gear and pinion gear offer greater strength and durability compared to aluminum alloy gears, reducing deformation and extending service life. A suspension bearing on the pinion gear stabilizes meshing for smoother, more stable casting.

  • Aluminum Alloy Handle & Soft Rubber Grips: High-strength aluminum alloy handle combined with comfortable soft rubber grips for durability and comfort during use.
  • Elastic Drag Knob: Features a built-in high elastic spring, making the knob less prone to wear during use and enhancing its overall durability.

4. Setup

4.1 Handle Orientation

The SEASIR DCAST DC reel is available in both left-hand and right-hand retrieve models. To determine your reel's orientation:

  1. Hold the reel with the exposed spool and the line guide at the 12 o'clock position, facing you.
  2. If the handle is on your left side, it is a left-handed reel.
  3. If the handle is on your right side, it is a right-handed reel.

4.2 Spool Installation

The reel's side plate can be easily removed to access the spool for line winding or maintenance. Refer to the product video for a visual guide on how to remove and install the spool.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Braking Force Adjustment

The DCAST DC features an advanced digital control system for braking. For initial use, especially to prevent backlash (tangles in the fishing line), it is recommended to:

  1. Adjust the braking force to its maximum setting.
  2. Gradually decrease the braking level according to the weight of your bait and your casting technique to achieve the farthest possible casting distance without backlash.

5.2 Drag Clicker

The integrated Drag Clicker provides an audible
