6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Monitor: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Cameras: Periodically clean the camera lenses to ensure clear visibility. Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning solution if necessary. The IP68 rating ensures they can withstand washing.

6.2 Storage

If storing the device for an extended period, ensure it is powered off and disconnected from the vehicle's power supply. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6.3 TF Card Management

Regularly back up important recordings from the TF card. Format the TF card periodically (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Use a high-speed TF card (Class 10 or higher) for best results.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Check all power connections. Ensure the vehicle's power supply is within the DC 12V-30V range. Verify the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and the vehicle.
  • No Camera Display: Check the 4-pin aviation cable connections between the cameras and the monitor. Ensure cameras are properly powered.
  • Flickering Screen/Poor Image Quality: Check cable connections for looseness or damage. Ensure the power supply is stable.
  • Carplay/Android Auto Not Connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the monitor. Follow the pairing instructions carefully. Try restarting both your phone and the monitor.
  • Recording Issues: Check if a TF card is inserted and properly formatted. Ensure the TF card has sufficient free space. If loop recording is enabled, older files will be overwritten.
  • Touch Screen Unresponsive: Try restarting the monitor. If the issue persists, ensure the screen is clean and free from obstructions.

8. User Tips

  • Optimal Camera Placement: Experiment with camera angles during installation to maximize coverage and minimize blind spots, especially for larger vehicles.
  • Regular Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
  • Voice Control Commands: Familiarize yourself with the voice control commands for hands-free operation while driving.
  • Brightness Adjustment: Adjust the monitor's brightness (1000 cd/m2) according to ambient light conditions for comfortable viewing, especially during day and night driving.
  • Utilize Multi-Screen Views: For complex maneuvers or busy environments, switch to a multi-screen display to keep an eye on all critical areas around your vehicle.
