4. Setup

4.1 Monitor Installation

The monitor is designed for dashboard installation. Ensure a stable and clear line of sight for safe operation. The monitor dimensions are approximately 26.9cm (10.6 inches) wide and 12.5cm (5 inches) high.

4.2 Camera Installation

The system includes four IP68 waterproof cameras that can be installed in various positions around your vehicle to provide 360-degree coverage. Common placements include front, back, left, and right sides. The cameras feature a 150-degree adjustable angle for optimal viewing.

4.3 Wiring

5.1 Basic UI Navigation

The monitor features an IPS touch screen for intuitive navigation. Tap icons to access different functions such as Apple Carplay, HiCar, CarLife+, Playback, Audio Output, and Settings. Use the home icon to return to the main menu.

5.2 Carplay & Android Auto Setup

To use Apple Carplay or Android Auto:

1. Click the Apple Carplay or Android Auto widget on the SmartScreen.
2. Pair your iPhone or Android phone to the SmartScreen using Bluetooth (e.g., Bluetooth: MT01-1B10DA).
3. When your phone prompts, confirm to use Carplay/Android Auto with "SmartScreen".

Tips:

• Expect a longer waiting time for the first connection.
• Only iPhone phones are supported for Apple Carplay.
• After a successful connection, Bluetooth will be disconnected automatically.

5.3 DVR Recording

The system automatically records footage from all four cameras in 1080P resolution. Recordings are saved to the inserted TF card (up to 256GB). The system supports loop recording, ensuring continuous footage by overwriting the oldest files when the storage is full.

5.4 Split Screen Display

You can switch between different display modes, including single-camera view, two-camera split, or four-camera split screen, to monitor various angles simultaneously. Use the touch screen interface to select your preferred layout.
