1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the VENBES 10.26" Car Radio Monitor. This device is designed to enhance your driving experience with advanced multimedia and safety features. It integrates Carplay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone connectivity, a built-in DVR for recording driving footage, an IPS touch screen for clear visuals, Mirrorlink functionality, and Bluetooth 5.0 for stable audio and calls.

The built-in DVR function records videos continuously in the background, even while other functions are in use, ensuring uninterrupted recording for your peace of mind. In the event of an accident, saved footage can be instantly replayed on-site.

4. Setup and Installation

The VENBES Car Radio Monitor is designed for easy installation using its vertical stand. It is compatible with 12V-24V power systems, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicles.

4.1 Basic Installation

Attach the universal mount to the monitor.
Securely place the monitor with its stand on your dashboard or desired location, ensuring it does not obstruct your view or interfere with driving controls.
Connect the cigarette lighter plug to your vehicle's 12V/24V power outlet and to the monitor's power input.
Power on the device using the Power Button.

4.2 Optional Reverse Camera Installation

If you have purchased the optional reverse camera, follow these general steps. For detailed wiring, please refer to the specific camera connection tutorial (often provided with the camera or available online from VENBES support).

Mount the reverse camera at the rear of your vehicle.
Connect the camera's video output cable to the AV In port on the monitor.
Connect the camera's power cable to your vehicle's reverse light circuit to enable automatic switching when engaging reverse gear.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Carplay & Android Auto

Connect your iPhone or Android phone to the monitor via a USB cable to access Carplay or Android Auto. This allows for hands-free calls, music streaming, messaging, and navigation directly from your phone's interface displayed on the monitor.

For iPhone: Connect via USB cable to activate Carplay.
For Android Phone: Connect via USB cable. You may need to download official software to use the MirrorLink function.

5.2 Navigation

Utilize mobile GPS precision for hands-free navigation through Carplay or Android Auto. Your phone's navigation apps will be displayed on the monitor, providing clear directions.

5.3 Built-in DVR (Driving Recorder)

The integrated DVR camera records your driving videos. When the TF card is full, the system automatically overwrites the oldest recordings. In case of an incident, the saved footage can be instantly replayed on the monitor.

The DVR camera features a 170° wide-angle view and an adjustable angle, allowing you to capture a broad perspective of the road.

5.4 Mirror Link

The Mirror Link function allows you to mirror your smartphone's screen onto the monitor. This feature is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

For iPhone: Use a USB cable to connect and utilize the MirrorLink function.
For Android Phone: After connecting via USB, it may be necessary to download official software to enable MirrorLink.

5.5 Bluetooth 5.0

Connect your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0 for stable music streaming and hands-free calling. Bluetooth 5.0 offers stable connection, low latency, and fast transmission.

5.6 Multiple Audio Modes

The monitor supports various audio output methods:

Built-in Speaker: For direct audio playback.
Bluetooth: Connect to your vehicle's car stereo via Bluetooth (Carplay/Android Auto only).
AUX: Connect an AUX cable to output audio to your car's stereo system.
FM Transmission: Adjust the monitor's FM frequency to match your car radio's frequency for audio signal transmission.

5.7 Reversing Camera (Optional)

If an optional reverse camera is connected, the monitor will automatically switch to the reverse image when your vehicle is put into reverse gear. Some optional cameras may include 8-LEDs for improved night vision.

5.8 Voice Control

The device supports voice control, allowing for hands-free operation of various functions, enhancing safety while driving.

6. Maintenance

Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the IPS touch screen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the screen.
TF Card Management: Regularly check the TF card used for DVR recording. While the system overwrites old files, it's good practice to back up important footage periodically. Ensure the TF card is properly inserted and formatted if necessary.
General Care: Keep the device away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, and excessive moisture.

7. Troubleshooting

Function Not Visible on Home Screen: If you cannot find a specific function on the home screen, it might be disabled. Navigate to Factory Settings, then 'Desktop Layout', and enable the desired function. The password for Factory Settings is '888888'.
No Power: Ensure the cigarette lighter plug is securely connected to both the monitor and the vehicle's power outlet. Check the vehicle's fuse for the power outlet.
No Audio Output: Verify the selected audio mode (Built-in Speaker, Bluetooth, AUX, FM Transmission). If using FM Transmission, ensure the monitor's and car radio's frequencies match. If using Bluetooth, ensure your car stereo is correctly paired.
Carplay/Android Auto Not Connecting: Ensure your phone is connected via a high-quality USB cable. For Android Auto, confirm any necessary software is installed on your phone. Try restarting both the monitor and your phone.
DVR Not Recording: Check if a TF card is inserted into the dedicated DVR slot and if it has sufficient space (max 64GB). Ensure the TF card is not corrupted; try reformatting it if issues persist.
Mirror Link Issues: For Android phones, ensure any required official software for MirrorLink is installed. Check USB cable connection.

Optimal Viewing: Adjust the monitor's angle and height for the best viewing experience without obstructing your line of sight while driving.
Cable Management: Route all cables neatly and securely to prevent interference with driving controls and to maintain a tidy interior.
Software Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website or device settings for any available software updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
