Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, ensure your FineTrack Slim Smart Finder is fully charged. Use the provided magnetic charging cable. The red light indicator will stay on during charging and turn off once fully charged. A full charge can last up to 12 months.

2. Pairing with Apple Find My
The UGREEN FineTrack Slim Smart Finder is designed exclusively for Apple's Find My network. Android devices are not supported.
- Ensure your Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) is running iOS/iPadOS 14.5 or later, or macOS 12.5 or later.
- Open the "Find My" app on your Apple device.
- Navigate to the "Items" tab.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add a new item. The Smart Finder should be detected automatically when nearby.
- Once paired, you can name your Smart Finder (e.g., "Wallet") and customize its settings within the app.

Operating Instructions
1. Indoor/Close-Range Search (Play Sound)
If your item is nearby but out of sight (e.g., under a couch cushion), you can make the Smart Finder play a loud alarm:
- Open the "Find My" app on your Apple device.
- Select your UGREEN FineTrack Slim Smart Finder from the "Items" list.
- Tap "Play Sound". The Smart Finder will emit an alarm of 75-80dB, helping you pinpoint its location.
- To stop the sound, tap "Stop Sound" in the app.

2. Remote Search (View Most Recent Location)
If your item is far away, the Find My network can help you locate it. The network uses hundreds of millions of Apple devices worldwide to detect your Smart Finder and report its location to you privately and securely.
- Open the "Find My" app.
- Select your Smart Finder.
- The app will display its most recent known location on a map. You can get directions to this location.

3. Left-Behind Alarms
Receive instant notifications if you leave your item behind. This feature helps prevent loss by alerting you when your Smart Finder is no longer detected near your Apple device.
- In the "Find My" app, select your Smart Finder.
- Under "Notifications", enable "Notify When Left Behind".
- You can also set exceptions for trusted locations where you don't want to be notified (e.g., your home).

4. Multi-Phone Information Sharing
The Smart Finder supports sharing its location information with up to 5 other iPhone users. This is useful for families or groups tracking shared items. To use this function, ensure your device's operating system is updated to iOS 17 or later.
- In the "Find My" app, select your Smart Finder.
- Tap "Share This Item" and follow the prompts to add contacts.

5. Siri Integration
You can use Siri to quickly locate your items. Simply say, "Hey Siri, where's my [item name]?" (e.g., "Hey Siri, where's my wallet?"). Siri will then prompt the Smart Finder to play a sound.

1. Recharging
The UGREEN FineTrack Slim Smart Finder features a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Use the included magnetic charging cable to recharge. A single charge can provide up to 12 months of battery life. You can monitor the battery level within the "Find My" app.
- Connect the magnetic charging cable to the Smart Finder.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a compatible power adapter (not included).
- The red indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
2. Water Resistance
The Smart Finder is IP68 rated for water resistance, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. While it is water-resistant, it is not waterproof. Avoid prolonged exposure to water or submersion beyond specified limits to ensure longevity.
3. Battery Information
The device uses a non-replaceable Li-ion battery. Do not attempt to open the device or replace the battery yourself, as this may damage the product and void the warranty.
Troubleshooting
- Device not found in Find My app:
- Ensure your Apple device's operating system is iOS/iPadOS 14.5 or later, or macOS 12.5 or later.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your Apple device.
- Ensure the Smart Finder is charged and powered on.
- Bring the Smart Finder closer to your Apple device during the initial pairing process.
- Charging indicator light behavior:
- The red light will stay on while charging and turn off when fully charged.
- If the product is fully charged upon arrival, it may flash a red light briefly and then turn off when charging for the first time. This does not indicate a malfunction.
- Alarm not loud enough or not playing:
- Ensure the Smart Finder is within Bluetooth range of your Apple device or within range of the Find My network.
- Check the battery level of the Smart Finder in the Find My app.
- Left-behind notifications not working:
- Verify that "Notify When Left Behind" is enabled for your Smart Finder in the Find My app settings.
- Check if you have set any "Notify Me, Except At" locations that might be preventing notifications.
