Thank you for choosing the BQCC Car Audio Radio. This 1-DIN Bluetooth stereo MP3 player is designed to provide high-quality audio entertainment and convenient features for your vehicle. It includes an FM receiver, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calls and music streaming, USB and TF card playback, AUX input, and mobile phone charging capabilities. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and operation to ensure proper use and optimal performance.

4. Product Overview

4.1 Front Panel

  • Number Buttons (1-6): Preset radio stations. Also used for various functions in different modes (e.g., 1/II for play/pause, 2/INT for intro scan, 3/RPT for repeat, 4/RDM for random play, 5/-10 for previous 10 tracks, 6/+10 for next 10 tracks).
  • Previous/Next Track Buttons: Navigate tracks or adjust frequency.

4.2 Rear Connections

  • Power Card Interface: Connects to the vehicle's power supply via the provided wiring harness.
  • Audio Output (RCA): Two channels (Left and Right) for connecting to external amplifiers or subwoofers.
  • Antenna Jack: Connects to the vehicle's FM radio antenna.

5. Installation

This unit is a standard 1-DIN size car stereo. Professional installation is highly recommended.

5.1 Wiring Diagram

Refer to the following diagram for correct wiring connections. Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the unit or your vehicle's electrical system.

5.2 Installation Steps (General)

  1. Disconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal before starting any electrical work.
  2. Remove the existing car stereo (if any) and its mounting bracket.
  3. Connect the provided wiring harness to the car stereo's power card interface.
  4. Match the wires from the wiring harness to your vehicle's corresponding wires (power, ground, accessory, speaker wires). Refer to your vehicle's wiring diagram if unsure.
  5. Connect the FM antenna to the antenna jack on the rear of the stereo.
  6. Slide the car stereo into the dashboard opening and secure it using the provided mounting bracket and disassembly keys.
  7. Reconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal.
  8. Test the unit's functions before fully reassembling the dashboard.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button.
  • Mode Select: Short press the Power/Mode button to cycle through FM Radio, AUX Input, USB Playback, TF Card Playback, and Bluetooth modes.

6.2 FM Radio

  • Select FM Mode: Press the Mode button until 'FM' appears on the display.
  • Change Band: Press the BAND button to switch between FM1, FM2, and FM3.
  • Manual Tuning: Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
  • Automatic Search & Store: Long press the BAND/AMS button to automatically scan and store strong stations into presets.
  • Recall Presets: Short press number buttons (1-6) to select a stored station.

6.3 Bluetooth Function

  • Enter Bluetooth Mode: Press the Mode button until 'BT' appears on the display.
  • Pairing: On your mobile device, search for Bluetooth devices and select 'SWL-BT'. Enter '0000' if a password is required.
  • Music Playback: Once paired, you can stream audio from your device. Use the stereo's controls or your device to play/pause, skip tracks.
  • Hands-free Calling: When a call comes in, the stereo will display the caller ID. Press the Volume knob (or answer button on remote) to answer, and the MUTE button (or hang up button on remote) to end the call.

6.4 USB/TF Card Playback

  • Insert Media: Insert a USB disk into the USB port or a TF card into the TF card slot. The unit will automatically switch to the corresponding mode and begin playback.
  • Supported Formats: MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC/APE.
  • Controls: Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to skip tracks. Use the 1/II button for play/pause, 3/RPT for repeat, and 4/RDM for random play.

6.5 AUX Function

  • Connect Device: Connect your external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the front AUX input using a 3.5mm audio cable.
  • Select AUX Mode: Press the Mode button until 'AUX' appears on the display.
  • Control Playback: Playback is controlled directly from your external audio device.

6.6 Time Display and Setting

  • Display Time: Short press the CLK button to show the current time.
  • Set Time: Long press the CLK button. The hour digits will flash. Use the Volume knob or Previous/Next Track buttons to adjust the hour. Press CLK again to switch to minute adjustment, then adjust minutes. Press CLK again to save and exit.

6.7 EQ Sound Effects

  • Change EQ Preset: Short press the EQ button to cycle through available equalizer presets (e.g., Pop, Rock, Classic, Flat).

6.8 Power-off Memory

  • The unit features a power-off memory function that restores the last played frequency, track, and volume settings when the power is turned back on.
  • Note: When using TF or USB disk playback, the power-off memory function is only active if the machine is shut down normally. No power-off memory is available for mobile phone playing via AUX or Bluetooth.
