Setup and Installation
Installation Location
The recommended installation location is on the front windshield, within the dotted area as shown in the figure below. Please select the exact position based on your vehicle's layout and your driving habits to ensure an unobstructed view and optimal recording angle.

Installation and Routing
- Select Position: Choose your desired installation spot on the front windshield.
- Apply Static Sticker: Install the electrostatic sticker first onto the chosen area.
- Install Bracket: Securely install the bracket onto the electrostatic sticker.
- Attach Recorder: Connect the dash cam firmly with the bracket.
- Position Recorder: Paste the recorder into the dotted line box on the electrostatic sticker.
- Connect Power: Once the dash cam is installed, connect the power line to the power supply.
- Route Cable: Arrange the power line neatly near the cigarette lighter.
- Connect Charger: Connect the charging head to the power line.
- Power On: Insert the charging head into the cigarette lighter socket to power the device.

- MicroSD Card: Format the MicroSD card periodically (e.g., once a month) through the dash cam settings or the DDPai App to prevent data corruption and maintain recording efficiency. Use a Class 10 or higher MicroSD card for best results.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures outside its operating range (-20℃ to 70℃) for prolonged periods.
