3. Setup Guide
3.1 SIM Card Installation
- Locate the SIM card slot on the device.
- Using the provided SIM ejector tool or a similar thin object, open the SIM card tray.
- Insert a suitable Nano SIM card into the tray, ensuring it is correctly oriented as indicated by the guide.
- Close the SIM card tray securely.
3.2 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the power button until the indicator lights illuminate. Some devices may power on automatically after the SIM card is inserted.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the indicator lights turn off.
3.3 App Installation & Account Setup
The ICAR IK122M uses the 'icargps' application for tracking and control. It is available for both iOS and Android devices.
- Search for "icargps" in your device's app store (Apple App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android).
- Download and install the application.
- Open the app and log in using the ID number found on your device. The default password is '123456'. You can modify this password after your initial login.
- For managing multiple devices, contact ICAR support to create an admin account and add all your device IDs.

3.4 APN Settings
If your device does not come with a pre-configured SIM card, you may need to set up the APN (Access Point Name) manually. Refer to the SMS commands provided in the detailed user manual (if available) or contact your SIM card provider for the correct APN settings and instructions on how to send them via SMS to the tracker.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Real-time Tracking
Once the device is powered on and connected to the network, you can track your dog's location in real-time via the 'icargps' app or the web platform (http://www.icargps.net/). The device updates its position every 10 seconds on the app, providing continuous monitoring.

4.2 Remote Training & Search Features
- Remote Training (Sound): The collar features 9 levels of sound for remote training commands.
- Remote Search (Light and Sound): If your dog is out of sight, use the app to activate the collar's strobe light and sound to help locate them.

4.3 Voice Monitor and Recording
The built-in speaker allows for remote voice monitoring and recording, enabling you to hear your dog's surroundings or communicate with them.
4.4 GEO Fence
Set up virtual boundaries (GEO Fences) on the app. You will receive alerts if your dog enters or exits these predefined safe areas.
4.5 Alarms
The device provides alerts for:
- Speed Alarm: Notifies you if your dog exceeds a set speed limit.
- Low Battery Alarm: Alerts you when the battery level is low, prompting you to recharge.
4.6 Tracking Route Playback
Review your dog's past movements with 180 days of tracking route playback. You can customize the route line colors for better visualization.

You can remotely control the power on and off times of the device through the application.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Waterproofing
The IK122M is IP68 waterproof, meaning it is protected against continuous immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. While highly durable, avoid prolonged submersion or exposure to high-pressure water jets to maintain its integrity.
5.2 Battery Charging
Charge the device using the provided USB cable and power adapter. A full charge provides up to 30 days of standby time. Ensure the charging port is clean and dry before connecting the charger.
5.3 Cleaning
Wipe the device and collar with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the device or collar material.

- Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. If it's a new device, ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted.
- No GPS signal: Ensure the device is outdoors with a clear view of the sky. Check network coverage in your area.
- Inaccurate location: Location accuracy can be affected by dense foliage, tall buildings, or indoor environments. For best accuracy, ensure the device has a clear line of sight to GPS satellites.
- App not connecting: Check your phone's internet connection. Ensure the device is powered on and has a working SIM card with active data.
- APN setup issues: Double-check the APN settings with your SIM card provider. Ensure the SMS command format is correct if setting manually.
