3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

The DX-CP29 is equipped with a Type-C rechargeable lithium battery. Before initial use, ensure the device is fully charged using a standard Type-C charging cable.

To configure and manage your DX-CP29 beacon, download the official DX-SMART application. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play.

4. Operation

4.1 Connecting to the App

Once the app is installed, you can connect to your DX-CP29 beacon using one of the following methods:

  1. Scan MAC Code: Use the app's scan function to read the MAC code displayed on the beacon or its packaging.
  2. Search MAC Code: Manually search for the beacon's MAC address within the app.

4.2 Configuring Beacon Parameters

The app allows for modification of various beacon parameters, including:

  • UUID, Major, Minor: For iBeacon and Eddystone identification.
  • Broadcast Distance: Adjust the range of the beacon's signal.
  • Push Frequency: Set how often the beacon broadcasts its signal.
  • TX Power: Configure the transmit power.
  • Trigger: Set up specific triggers for actions.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery and Charging

The DX-CP29 uses a Type-C rechargeable lithium battery with an estimated life of 1 year. Recharge the device as needed using a compatible Type-C cable. Avoid extreme temperatures during charging and operation to prolong battery life.
