1. Introduction

The ANCEL JC200 is a professional 2-cylinder fuel injector cleaner and tester designed for automotive and motorcycle applications. This device provides ECU control signals to two injectors simultaneously, allowing for efficient cleaning and comprehensive testing. It is capable of performing various tests including uniformity, atomization observation, tightness, and fuel injection volume detection, enabling accurate evaluation of injector conditions.

2. Important Safety Warnings

Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in injury or damage to the device or vehicle.

  • The ANCEL JC200 must only be powered by a 12V car battery. Do NOT use 110V or 120V power sources, as this will damage the machine.
  • Before using this injector cleaner, ensure the vehicle engine is turned off.
  • It is recommended to wear goggles or take other protective measures to avoid splashing on eyes and skin surfaces.
  • Use this Injector Cleaner only in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling exhaust fumes and vapors emitted from the vehicle.
  • Do not short-circuit the positive and negative terminals of the vehicle battery.
  • Do not smoke or light a fire in the vicinity of the vehicle during operation.
  • Do not spill automotive fuel on hot engine parts.
  • Keep clear of any rotating (or moving) parts of the vehicle and avoid touching any hot parts of the vehicle.
  • Do not touch any part of the automobile that carries a dangerous voltage.

4. Product Overview

The ANCEL JC200 features a compact and humanized design for ease of use and portability.

4.1 Main Components

  1. Operation Panel: Refer to section 2.2 for detailed explanation.
  2. Pressure Gauge: Indicates the pressure delivered.
  3. Glass Measuring Cylinder(s): For observing test fluid levels.
  4. Fuel Level Gauge: Indicates the current amount of test fluid.
  5. Base Plate: For mounting the injector onto the test rack.
  6. Fuel Distribution Rail: Distributes fuel to injectors.
  7. Lock Nut: Secures components.
  8. Lock Thread: Secures components.
  9. Fluid Deliver Switch: DO NOT SWITCH IT ON WHEN THE INJECTORS ARE NOT MOUNTED, EXCEPT YOU WANT TO DRAIN THE FLUID.
  10. Power Supply Input: Connects to 12V vehicle battery.
  11. Pulse Signal Output: Provides control signals to injectors.
  12. Fuel Deliver Hose: Connects to the fuel system.
  13. Fuel Refill Port / Pressure Release: Also acts as Pressure Release Port. Loosen it slightly while the Fluid Deliver Switch is off to release residual pressure in the system.

4.2 Control Panel Functions

  • A: Display Area: Shows working parameters.
  • B: Mode Indication: Indicates the current operating mode.
  • C: Adjust Decrease: Decreases working parameters.
  • D: Adjust Increase: Increases working parameters.
  • E: Mode Selection: Selects different operating modes.
  • F: Start / Stop: Initiates or halts the operation.

5. Setup and Preparation

5.1 Power Connection

Connect the provided Power Cord to the Power Supply Input (10) on the ANCEL JC200 and to a 12V vehicle battery. Ensure correct polarity. The device requires a 2Amp power supply.

5.2 Injector Mounting

  1. Select the appropriate adapters (e.g., Φ9-11.3, Φ11-12.8, Φ13-14.5) for your injectors.
  2. Mount the injectors onto the Base Plate (5) and secure them using the Lock Thread (8) and Lock Nut (7).
  3. Connect the Signal Cords to the injectors and the Pulse Signal Output (11) on the main unit.
  4. Ensure the Fluid Deliver Switch (9) is OFF before proceeding.

5.3 Filling the Tank

Pour the appropriate test fluid into the tank through the Fuel Refill Port (13). The tank capacity is 150ml. Observe the Fuel Level Gauge (4) to ensure adequate fluid for testing.

6. Operating Modes and Features

The ANCEL JC200 offers several key functions for comprehensive injector testing and cleaning:

6.1 Main Functions

  • Uniformity Test: Checks the consistency of injections across multiple injectors.
  • Atomization Observation: With the help of the bright backlight, you can observe the spray atomization pattern of the injector in a comprehensive and careful manner.
  • Tightness Test: Detects the tightness and any dropping of fuel from the injector under working pressure.
  • Fuel Injection Volume Detection: Measures the fuel injection volume of the injector under specific working conditions.

8. Maintenance

  • Regularly clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Ensure the test fluid is clean and free of debris to prevent damage to the injectors and the unit.
  • Store the device in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • When not in use, ensure the Fluid Deliver Switch is off and any residual pressure is released from the system.

9. User Tips

  • For best results, use a high-quality, dedicated injector cleaning fluid.
  • When comparing two injectors, ensure they are of the same type and condition for accurate assessment.
  • Always double-check all connections before starting any test to prevent leaks or damage.

10. Troubleshooting

10.1 No Power

  • Ensure the power cord is securely connected to a 12V vehicle battery.
  • Check the battery voltage; it must be sufficient to power the unit.
  • Verify that the power cord is not damaged.

10.2 No Fluid Delivery

  • Check if the Fluid Deliver Switch (9) is in the ON position.
  • Ensure there is sufficient test fluid in the tank.
  • Verify that the fuel deliver hose is not blocked or kinked.

10.3 Inconsistent Test Results

  • Ensure the injectors are properly mounted and sealed.
  • Check for any leaks in the system.
  • Verify that the test fluid is clean and free of contaminants.

The ANCEL JC200 comes with a 1-Year Warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects and malfunctions under normal use. Please retain your proof of purchase for warranty claims.
