This device allows you to stream audio from your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices to your car's FM radio, make hands-free calls, and quickly charge your mobile devices. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize your experience.

2. Setup Instructions

1. 2.1 Powering On

   Insert the UGREEN Car FM Transmitter into your vehicle's 12V/24V cigarette lighter socket. The device will power on automatically, and the LED display will show the current FM frequency.

2. 2.2 Tuning the FM Frequency

   Tune your car's FM radio to an empty frequency (one with no active broadcast). Then, adjust the FM Transmitter to match this frequency. You can typically do this by pressing the 'CH' button or rotating the main knob on the transmitter. A clear, unused frequency will minimize static and interference.

3. 2.3 Bluetooth Pairing

   Once the transmitter is powered on, it will enter Bluetooth pairing mode. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select 'UGREEN 80910' (or similar name) from the list to connect. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.

3. Operating Instructions

1. 3.1 Hands-free Calling

   The FM Transmitter supports hands-free calls for safer driving. Use the multi-function button (typically the central knob) for call management:

   • **Answer Call:** Single click the multi-function button.
   • **Hang Up Call:** Single click the multi-function button during a call.
   • **Reject Call:** Long press the multi-function button.
   • **Redial Last Number:** Double click the multi-function button.

2. 3.2 Music Playback

   You can enjoy music through three modes:

   • **Bluetooth Streaming:** After successful Bluetooth pairing, play music on your smartphone, and it will be transmitted to your car's FM radio.
   • **USB Flash Drive:** Insert a USB flash drive (up to 128GB) containing MP3 files into the designated USB-A port (often marked with a music icon). The transmitter will automatically detect and play the music.
   • **TF Card:** Insert a TF card (up to 128GB) containing MP3 files into the TF card slot. The transmitter will automatically detect and play the music.

   The device supports power memory operation, meaning it will remember and resume the current song when it powers off and on again.

3. 3.3 Device Charging

   The UGREEN FM Transmitter features multiple charging ports for your convenience:

   • **USB-C Port:** Supports PD3.0 and QC/FCP/AFC fast charge protocols, providing up to 4x faster charging than traditional car chargers.
   • **USB-A Ports:** Both USB-A ports support QC/FCP/AFC fast charge protocols. Note that one USB-A port is primarily for reading USB flash drives for music playback, while the other is dedicated to charging. The total output is 31.5W Max.

4. 3.4 Car Battery Voltage Detection

   The device features a car battery voltage detection function. The LED indicator will flash to alert you if the car battery voltage is over-voltage, helping you monitor your vehicle's electrical system.

4. Maintenance

• Keep the device dry and clean. Avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage.
• Clean the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Ensure the cigarette lighter socket is clean and free of debris for optimal connection.

5. Troubleshooting

• No Power / Device Not Turning On:

  Ensure the FM Transmitter is securely plugged into the car's cigarette lighter socket. Check if the car's cigarette lighter socket is functioning (e.g., by testing with another device). Check your car's fuse box for any blown fuses related to the cigarette lighter.

• Poor Sound Quality / Static:

  The most common cause is FM interference. Try tuning to a different, unused FM frequency on both your car radio and the transmitter. Ensure there are no strong local radio stations broadcasting on or near your selected frequency. Move your phone closer to the transmitter to ensure a strong Bluetooth connection.

• Bluetooth Disconnection:

  Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and within range. Try unpairing and re-pairing the device. Restart both your phone and the FM Transmitter.

• Charging Not Working / Slow Charging:

  Ensure your charging cable is not damaged and is properly connected. Verify that your device supports the fast charging protocols (QC/PD) for optimal speed. Some devices may charge slower if multiple devices are connected simultaneously, as the total output is shared.

• **Find the Clearest Frequency:** When setting up, take a moment to scan for the absolute clearest FM frequency in your area. This can significantly improve audio quality and reduce static.
• **Dedicated Music Port:** Remember that one of the USB-A ports is specifically designed for reading USB flash drives for music. If you're experiencing issues with music playback from a USB drive, ensure it's plugged into the correct port.
• **Cable Quality Matters:** For optimal fast charging, use high-quality USB cables that support the QC/PD protocols. Low-quality cables can limit charging speed.
• **Volume Balance:** Adjust the volume on your phone, the FM transmitter, and your car radio to find the best balance for clear audio without distortion. Start with the transmitter and phone volume at a moderate level, then adjust the car radio.
