5. Setup Guide
This section guides you through the physical installation of your motherboard and its components.
5.1 Motherboard Layout

Refer to the diagram above for the location of various components and connectors on your motherboard.
5.2 CPU Installation
- Locate the AM5 CPU socket on the motherboard.
- Open the CPU socket retention mechanism by pushing down and away from the socket.
- Carefully align the triangular mark on the CPU with the corresponding mark on the socket.
- Gently place the CPU into the socket. Do not force it.
- Close the retention mechanism until it clicks into place, securing the CPU.
- Install your CPU cooler according to its manufacturer's instructions.
5.3 Memory (RAM) Installation

- Locate the two DDR5 DIMM slots.
- Open the clips at both ends of the memory slot.
- Align the notch on the DDR5 memory module with the key in the slot.
- Insert the memory module firmly into the slot until the clips snap into place. Ensure both clips are fully closed.
5.4 Storage Device Installation (M.2 SSDs & SATA Drives)

M.2 SSD Installation:
- Locate the M.2 slots (one on the front, one on the rear).
- Remove the M.2 heatsink (if present) and the M.2 standoff screw.
- Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at a 30-degree angle.
- Gently push down the M.2 SSD and secure it with the M.2 screw.
- Reinstall the M.2 heatsink (if applicable).
SATA Drive Installation:
- Connect one end of a SATA data cable to a SATA 3.0 port on the motherboard.
- Connect the other end of the SATA data cable to your SATA hard drive or SSD.
- Connect a SATA power cable from your power supply unit (PSU) to the SATA drive.
5.5 Expansion Card Installation (PCIe)

- Connect the front panel audio cable to the F_AUDIO header.
