This precision scale is designed for accurate weighing and timing, making it ideal for coffee brewing, baking, cooking, and other kitchen tasks. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize the lifespan of your device.

2.2 Display and Controls

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Open the battery cover.
  3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

3.2 Placement

Place the scale on a flat, stable, and level surface. The non-slip floor mat helps ensure stability during use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the ON/OFF button to turn the scale on.
  • Press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn the scale off.

4.2 Weighing

  1. Turn on the scale.
  2. Ensure the display shows '0' before placing items. If not, press the TARE button to zero out the scale.
  3. Place the item(s) to be weighed on the center of the weighing platform.
  4. Read the weight displayed on the screen.

4.3 Tare Function

The tare function allows you to weigh items in a container by subtracting the container's weight.

  1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
  2. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to '0'.
  3. Add the item(s) to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the item(s).

4.4 Unit Conversion

To change the weighing unit:

  • Short press the TARE button repeatedly to cycle through available units: ounces (oz), grams (g), pounds (lb), milliliters (ml).

4.5 Timer Function

The scale features a built-in timer, useful for coffee brewing or other timed tasks.

  • Press the START/STOP button to start the timer.
  • Press the START/STOP button again to pause/resume the timer.
  • To reset the timer, press the Reset button (if available, or typically by holding START/STOP or ON/OFF).
  • To access countdown function settings, long press the TARE button. Follow on-screen prompts to set the desired countdown time.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the scale in water or use abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display or when the scale fails to power on. Remove batteries if the scale will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
  • Protective Mat: The silicone mat can be removed for cleaning.

6. Troubleshooting

8. User Tips
