  1. Clean the Windshield: First, use a rag to wipe the glass to prepare the installation location.
  2. Mount the Dash Cam: Remove the dust sticker from the suction cup mounting bracket and firmly attach it to the desired position on your windshield. Ensure it does not obstruct your view.
  3. Connect Optional Rear Camera (if applicable): If your model includes a rear camera, connect and route its cable to the rear of the vehicle.
  4. Connect Power Supply: Connect the car charger to the dash cam and plug it into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when the car starts.

5.1 TF Card Formatting

To protect your privacy and ensure proper functionality, the TF card needs to be formatted for the first time. There are two solutions:

  1. Via Dash Cam Settings: Insert the TF card correctly into the dash cam. Open the camera settings, find the "storage card format" option, confirm that the formatting is complete, and then restart the camera to use.
  2. Via Mobile Application: Connect to the mobile application (if your model has Wi-Fi). Search for settings in the mobile application, format the memory card, confirm formatting is complete, and then restart the camera to use it.

6.5 Loop Recording

The dash cam continuously records video in a seamless loop. When the TF card runs out of storage, the oldest unlocked data will be automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures that recording never stops due to a full memory card.

6.6 G-Sensor (Emergency Locking)

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. In such an event, it automatically locks and saves the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical accident footage is preserved.

6.7 24-Hour Parking Monitor (Optional, requires buck cable)

When enabled, the 24-hour parking monitor feature automatically turns on and starts recording for a few seconds if it detects any impact or collision while your car is parked. This provides surveillance and protection for your vehicle when you are away.

Attention: This feature requires a separate 3-lead Hardwire Kit (buck cable) with an output current of 2.5A, which is not included and must be purchased separately.

7. Maintenance

  • Regular Formatting: Periodically format your TF card (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Remember to back up any important videos before formatting.
  • Lens Cleaning: Keep the camera lenses clean using a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch the lens.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or the companion app for any available firmware updates to ensure your dash cam has the latest features and bug fixes.
  • Storage Conditions: Store the dash cam in a cool, dry place when not in use, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Dash Cam Not Powering On:
    • Ensure the car charger is securely connected to both the dash cam and the vehicle's cigarette lighter.
    • Check if the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket is receiving power.
    • Verify the car charger cable is not damaged.
  • Recording Issues (e.g., stops recording, corrupted files):
    • Ensure you are using a Class 10 or higher TF card.
    • Format the TF card regularly (see Section 5.1).
    • The TF card may be full; ensure loop recording is enabled or manually delete old, unnecessary files.
    • The TF card might be faulty and require replacement.
  • Wi-Fi Connection Problems:
    • Ensure your dash cam model supports Wi-Fi.
    • Restart both your smartphone and the dash cam.
    • Check that the Wi-Fi function is enabled on the dash cam.
    • Ensure you are within close proximity to the dash cam for a stable connection.
  • Poor Night Vision Quality:
    • Clean the camera lens to remove any dirt or smudges.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions on the windshield blocking the camera's view.

9. User Tips
