5. Setup

  1. Connect to Charger: Plug the main XT60 connector of the OSH Charging Hub into the output port of your compatible SKYRC B6neo series charger.
  2. Select Battery Type: On your B6neo series charger, select the appropriate battery type (LiPo, LiFe, Li-ion, or LiHV) and charging parameters (e.g., 1S, desired current).
  3. Insert Jumper Cap: The hub includes a jumper cap. Insert this cap into the corresponding pins (labeled 1-6) to indicate which battery cells are connected and to be charged. Ensure the jumper cap is correctly placed for the number of batteries you intend to charge. For example, if charging 3 batteries, place the jumper cap across pins 1-3.
  4. Connect Batteries: Carefully plug your 1S batteries into the PH2.0 or BT2.0 ports on the charging hub. Ensure the connectors match and are inserted firmly.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. After completing the setup steps, double-check all connections and settings on your main charger.
  2. Initiate the charging process on your SKYRC B6neo series charger. The hub will distribute the charging current to all connected batteries.
  3. Monitor the charging progress on your main charger's display. The hub allows for efficient parallel charging of up to six 1S batteries.
  4. Once charging is complete, the main charger will indicate the end of the cycle. Disconnect the batteries from the hub, and then disconnect the hub from the charger.

7. User Tips

  • Always ensure all batteries connected to the hub are of the same cell count (1S) and similar voltage levels to ensure balanced and safe charging.
  • For optimal charging speed and safety, use a charging current appropriate for the total capacity of the batteries being charged. A common guideline is to charge at 1C (e.g., for six 300mAh batteries, a total of 1.8A).
  • Regularly inspect the connectors on both the hub and your batteries for any signs of wear or damage.
  • If you notice any unusual heat, smoke, or swelling from a battery during charging, immediately disconnect it and move it to a safe, non-flammable area.

8. Maintenance

  • Keep the charging hub clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid exposing the device to moisture or extreme temperatures.
  • Periodically check all connectors for corrosion or damage. Replace if necessary.
  • Store the hub in a protective case or bag when not in use to prevent physical damage.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Batteries not charging: Ensure the hub is correctly connected to a compatible charger. Verify the jumper cap is properly inserted. Check if the batteries are correctly plugged into the hub and are not damaged. Confirm the charger settings are correct for 1S batteries.
  • Slow charging: Ensure your main charger is set to an adequate output current for the number of batteries connected. Check for any loose connections.
  • Hub or batteries getting excessively hot: Immediately stop charging. Disconnect all components. This could indicate a short circuit, damaged battery, or incorrect settings. Review all connections and battery conditions before attempting to charge again.
