6. Operation

The U`King Fire Effect Flame Thrower can be operated in two modes: DMX control or Manual control.

6.1. Manual Operation

For manual operation, ensure no DMX signal is connected or the DMX address is set to 001 (check your DMX controller settings if applicable).

  1. Ensure all safety precautions are met.
  2. Turn the "ON/OFF" switch to the "ON" position.
  3. The device is now ready to produce fire effects. Specific manual trigger methods (e.g., a dedicated button) are not detailed, but typically manual mode involves a direct trigger on the unit or a simple remote. Refer to the device's physical controls for any manual trigger buttons.

6.2. DMX Operation

This device uses 5 DMX channels for control.

  1. Ensure the DMX cable is properly connected and the DMX address is set (refer to Setup section).
  2. Turn the "ON/OFF" switch to the "ON" position.
  3. Use your DMX controller to send commands to the device. The 5 DMX channels typically control aspects such as:
    • Channel 1: Master control / Safety channel (often needs to be set to a specific value to enable output).
    • Channel 2-4: Individual nozzle control (e.g., on/off, intensity for each of the three heads).
    • Channel 5: Effect mode or duration.
Consult your DMX controller's manual and experiment with channel values to understand the exact functions.
  4. The device can produce fireball effects (3-4m height) and fire column effects (2-3m height) depending on the DMX values sent.
