5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert one 3V Lithium Button Battery (e.g., CR2032 type, not included) into the compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Initial Use

The OMETTER Universal Treadmill Remote Control is generally ready for use with compatible treadmills immediately after battery installation. No complex pairing process is typically required for universal IR remotes. Point the remote directly at your treadmill's IR receiver.

6. Operating Instructions

To operate your treadmill using the remote control:

1. Ensure the treadmill is powered on and the remote has fresh batteries.
2. Point the remote control directly at the treadmill's display or IR receiver.
3. Press the Power button to turn the treadmill on or off.
4. Use the Play/Pause button to start or pause your workout.
