1. Product Overview

The Dinofire RGB Wireless Bluetooth Controller is a versatile gamepad designed for an enhanced gaming experience across multiple platforms. It features customizable RGB lighting, dual motor vibration, a 6-axis gyro sensor, programmable back buttons, and a long-lasting battery.

2. Setup and Connection

2.1 Connecting to Nintendo Switch/Switch OLED/Switch Lite

  1. Ensure your Nintendo Switch console is powered on.
  2. On the controller, press and hold the Y button + HOME button simultaneously.
  3. The controller will enter pairing mode, and the indicator lights will flash.
  4. On your Switch, navigate to 'Controllers' > 'Change Grip/Order'.
  5. The controller should appear and connect.
  6. After the initial connection, you can wake up the Switch and reconnect the controller by simply pressing the HOME button.

2.2 Connecting to Android Devices

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Android device.
  2. On the controller, press and hold the B button + HOME button simultaneously.
  3. The controller will enter pairing mode.
  4. On your Android device, search for new Bluetooth devices and select the Dinofire controller to pair.
  5. This mode supports games and platforms compatible with HID mode.

2.3 Connecting to iOS Devices (iOS 13.0 and above)

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device.
  2. On the controller, press and hold the X button + HOME button simultaneously.
  3. The controller will enter pairing mode.
  4. On your iOS device, search for new Bluetooth devices and select the Dinofire controller to pair.
  5. This mode supports games and platforms compatible with the MFI protocol.

2.4 Connecting to PC (Windows 7/8/10 and above)

  1. Connect the controller to your PC using a USB cable.
  2. The controller will automatically be recognized as an X-Input device.
  3. This connection method supports games on PC that use X-Input mode and the Steam game platform.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Vibration Adjustment

The controller features dual motors with 4 adjustable vibration levels (None, Weak, Moderate, Strong). This function is only available on Nintendo Switch series hosts.

  1. To adjust vibration intensity, press and hold L + R + ZL + ZR simultaneously.
  2. The vibration intensity will cycle through the four levels.

3.2 Turbo Function (Continuous Sending)

The controller supports both manual and automatic continuous sending for A, B, X, Y, L, R, ZL, and ZR buttons. There are three adjustable speeds.

  1. Activate Turbo: Press the desired button (e.g., A) and then press the Turbo button. This activates manual continuous sending. Press again for automatic continuous sending, and a third time to turn off.
  2. Adjust Turbo Speed: Press Turbo + Up Directional Pad (↑) to increase speed, or Turbo + Down Directional Pad (↓) to decrease speed. A vibration indicates successful adjustment.
  3. Clear All Turbo Settings: Press and hold the Minus (-) button + Down Directional Pad (↓) simultaneously. The controller will vibrate once to confirm all Turbo settings are cleared.

3.3 LED Lighting Control

The ABXY buttons, HOME button, and dual rocker apertures feature customizable RGB lighting with 9 colors and multiple modes.

  • Rocker Aperture Color: Press M + Minus (-) button to cycle through the long-bright colors of the rocker aperture.
  • Rocker Aperture Modes: Press M + Plus (+) button to cycle through breathing, laser, and off modes for the rocker aperture.
  • Rocker Aperture On/Off: Press M + L3 button to toggle the dual rocker aperture light effect.
  • ABXY Light On/Off: Press M + R3 button to toggle the ABXY light effect.
  • All Lights On/Off: Press M + T button to simultaneously toggle the dual rocker and ABXY key light effects.
  • Rocker Aperture Brightness: Press M + Left Rocker Up/Down to adjust the brightness of the dual rocker aperture.

3.4 Programmable Back Keys (M1/M2)

The controller features two programmable back keys (M1 and M2) that can map 1-16 basic function keys (A/B/X/Y/L/ZL/R/ZR/L3/R3/Up/Down/Left/Right).

  • Single Key Mapping:
    1. Press and hold the Minus (-) button + M1/M2 key for approximately 2 seconds. The rocker aperture will flash slowly in white.
    2. Press the desired function key you wish to map.
    3. Press the M1/M2 key again to save. The controller will vibrate once, and the signal lamp will return to normal.
  • Multiple Key Mapping:
    1. Press and hold the Plus (+) button + M1/M2 key for approximately 2 seconds. The rocker aperture will flash slowly in white.
    2. Press the sequence of function keys you wish to map (up to 16 keys).
    3. Press the M1/M2 key again to save. The controller will vibrate once, and the signal lamp will return to normal.
  • Clear Single Key Mapping:
    1. Press and hold the Plus (+) button + M1/M2 key for approximately 2 seconds. The rocker aperture will flash slowly in white.
    2. Press the M1/M2 key again to clear the mapping for that specific M key.
  • Clear All Key Mappings: Press the T button + Minus (-) button simultaneously. The controller will vibrate once to confirm all key mappings are cleared.

  • Charging: Charge the controller using the provided USB cable or a compatible charger. The charging time is approximately 3 hours.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Controller not connecting:
    - Ensure the controller is fully charged.
    - Verify you are using the correct button combination for your device (Y+HOME for Switch, B+HOME for Android, X+HOME for iOS, USB for PC).
    - Check your device's Bluetooth settings and ensure it's discoverable.
    - Try restarting both the controller and your device.
  • Vibration not working:
    - The vibration function is only supported on Nintendo Switch consoles. It is not available for Android or iOS devices.
    - Ensure the vibration intensity is not set to 'None' (adjust using L+R+ZL+ZR).
  • Buttons unresponsive:
    - Check if the controller's battery is low.
    - Try resetting the controller by pressing the T button + Minus (-) button simultaneously to clear all mappings, then re-pair.
  • LED lights not working/changing:
    - Ensure the lights are not turned off (check M+L3, M+R3, M+T combinations).
    - Adjust brightness using M+Left Rocker Up/Down.
  • Turbo function not working:
    - Ensure the Turbo function is activated for the desired button.
    - Check if the Turbo settings were cleared (T + Minus (-) button).
