2. Product Components

Before you begin, please ensure all components are present in your package:

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Assembling the Stand and Camera

  4. Adjust the arm and camera position to achieve the desired working distance and viewing angle.

3.2 Connecting the Microscope

  1. **Power Connection:** Connect the power adapter to the DC 12V input port on the camera and plug it into a power outlet.
  2. **Display Connection (HDMI):** For direct display on a monitor or TV, connect the HDMI cable from the camera's HDMI port to your display device.
  3. **PC Connection (USB):** To use the microscope with a computer and the 'S-EYE' software, connect the USB cable from the camera's USB port to your computer.
  4. **TF Card:** Insert a TF memory card (up to 64GB supported) into the TF Card slot for direct photo and video storage.
  5. **LED Light:** Connect the LED fill light to its designated power source and position it to illuminate your specimen.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Controls (Camera & Remote)

The camera features onboard buttons and can also be controlled via the included remote control.

  • **MENU Button:** Press to access the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. Long press to power on/off.
  • **Up/Down Buttons (A/Q, V/Q):** Navigate menu options or adjust zoom (Upward/Zoom in, Downward/Downsize).
  • **Left/Right Buttons:** Navigate menu options, start/stop video recording (Left), or take a picture (Right).

4.2 OSD Menu Navigation and Settings

Use the camera buttons or remote control to navigate the OSD menu. The menu supports 11 languages.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Lens and Camera Body

  • **No Image on Display:**

    • Verify the HDMI/USB cable connections are firm and correctly inserted.
    • Check the input source on your monitor/PC is set to the correct HDMI/USB channel.
  • **Blurry Image:**
    • Adjust the focus ring on the lens until the image is clear.
    • Ensure the working distance between the lens and the specimen is appropriate (50mm-1000mm).
    • Clean the lens if there is any dust or smudges.
  • **Software Not Connecting (PC):**
    • Ensure the USB cable is connected to both the camera and the PC.
    • Verify that the 'S-EYE' software is installed correctly and is compatible with your operating system (not suitable for Apple computers).
    • Try restarting the software and reconnecting the USB cable.
  • **Remote Control Not Responding:**
    • Check the battery in the remote control and replace if necessary.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the camera's IR receiver.
