5.2 Connecting the Battery

6.1 Charging

  • Always use a dedicated LiFePO4 battery charger with a charge voltage of 14.6V Β± 0.2V and CC/CV (Constant Current/Constant Voltage) method.
  • Charging can be done via a LiFePO4 charger, solar panel with MPPT controller, or a generator.
  • The optimal charging temperature range is 0℃ to 55℃ (32℉ to 131℉). The BMS will automatically cut off charging if the temperature is too low to prevent damage.

  • The optimal discharging temperature range is -20℃ to 70℃ (-4℉ to 158℉).
