5. Setup
5.1 Initial Inspection
Upon receiving your battery, carefully inspect it for any signs of damage during transit. If any damage is found, contact customer support immediately.
5.2 Connecting the Battery
- Ensure all connections are clean and free of corrosion.
- Connect the positive (+) terminal of the battery to the positive terminal of your system, and the negative (-) terminal to the negative terminal of your system.
- Tighten all connections securely to prevent loose contacts and arcing.
- For expanding your energy system, the battery supports 4S4P configurations (up to 51.2V 1256Ah). Consult a qualified electrician for complex parallel or series connections to ensure proper balancing and safety.

5.3 Bluetooth App Connection
- Download the official Humsienk battery monitoring app from your smartphone's app store.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your Humsienk battery. The app will allow you to monitor charge status, voltage, current, temperature, and other vital parameters.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Charging
- Always use a dedicated LiFePO4 battery charger with a charge voltage of 14.6V ± 0.2V and CC/CV (Constant Current/Constant Voltage) method.
- Charging can be done via a LiFePO4 charger, solar panel with MPPT controller, or a generator.
- The optimal charging temperature range is 0℃ to 55℃ (32℉ to 131℉). The BMS will automatically cut off charging if the temperature is too low to prevent damage.

6.2 Discharging
- The battery is designed for deep cycle applications, allowing for nearly 100% Depth of Discharge (DOD).
- The optimal discharging temperature range is -20℃ to 70℃ (-4℉ to 158℉).
- The 100A BMS will protect the battery from over-discharge by cutting off power if the voltage drops too low.

7. Maintenance
The Humsienk LiFePO4 battery is designed to be largely maintenance-free due to its robust construction and advanced BMS. However, following these general guidelines can help ensure optimal performance and longevity:
- Regular Cleaning: Keep the battery terminals clean and free of dirt or corrosion.
- Temperature Control: Store and operate the battery within the recommended temperature ranges to maximize its lifespan.
- Periodic Checks: Occasionally check the battery connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
- Avoid Deep Discharge for Extended Periods: While the battery can handle deep discharges, avoid leaving it in a fully discharged state for prolonged periods. Recharge it as soon as possible after significant discharge.
8. Troubleshooting
The built-in BMS provides comprehensive protection, often resolving issues automatically. If you encounter problems, consider the following:
- Battery Not Charging:
- Check if the charger is correctly connected and functioning.
- Verify that the charging temperature is within the acceptable range (0℃ to 55℃). The BMS will prevent charging if too cold.
- Ensure the charger is specifically for LiFePO4 batteries.
- Battery Not Discharging/No Power Output:
- Check all load connections for tightness and proper polarity.
- Confirm the battery voltage is above the low-voltage cut-off threshold (check via Bluetooth app). If it's too low, the BMS has protected it from over-discharge; recharge immediately.
- Verify the operating temperature is within the acceptable range (-20℃ to 70℃).
- The BMS may have activated overcurrent or short-circuit protection. Disconnect the load, wait a few minutes, and reconnect. Reduce the load if overcurrent was the cause.
- Bluetooth Connectivity Issues:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the battery is within range.
- Restart the app and/or your smartphone.
- Check if the battery is powered on.
