5. Setup and Programming

To program your new remote control, you will need access to your receiver/opener unit. The receiver is typically located near your garage door motor or gate control box.

Programming Steps:

  1. Locate and Open Receiver Casing: Open the casing of your receiver unit. This unit is usually found next to your motor.

  2. Press Programming Button: On the receiver circuit board, locate and press the programming button. This button may be labeled "ENR", "MEMO", "PROG", or "REC" depending on your specific model. Release the button immediately after pressing. The LED light on the receiver will illuminate or blink, indicating it is in programming mode.

  3. Activate New Remote: Press a button on your new Scimagic-RC remote control for approximately 1 second.

  4. Confirm Programming: Release the button on your new remote. The LED light on the receiver should turn off immediately or within 10 seconds, depending on the model. This indicates successful programming.

6. Operation

  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Close the remote control casing securely.
