5. Setup and Accessory Installation

5.1 Changing Accessories on the Rotary Tool

1. Ensure the tool is powered off and unplugged.
2. Press and hold the spindle lock button.
3. Unscrew the collet nut.
4. Choose the suitable collet and accessory, then insert the accessory into the collet.
5. Tighten the collet nut with the provided wrench.
6. Release the spindle lock button.

WARNING: Always tighten the collet nut securely with a wrench. An improperly tightened collet can cause the attachment to come off during use, leading to injury or damage.

5.2 Attaching the Flexible Shaft

The flexible shaft provides enhanced precision and reduced vibration for delicate work.

1. Ensure the tool is powered off and unplugged.
2. Turn and remove the umbrella cover from the front of the rotary tool.
3. Insert the shaft inside the flexible shaft into the collet nut of the rotary tool.
4. Secure the end of the flexible shaft to the front of the rotary tool, fixing it with the spanner.
5. To attach an accessory to the flexible shaft head, lock the flexible shaft head with the spanner and L-PIN, then insert and tighten the accessory.
