2. Pairing with your TCL TV (for Voice Control and Bluetooth functions)

For full functionality, including voice control, the remote must be paired with your TCL TV via Bluetooth. If the remote only controls basic functions (power, volume, channel) via IR, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure your TV is powered on.
  2. On your TV, navigate to Settings > Remotes & Accessories (or similar menu path, may vary by TV model).
  3. Select Add accessory or Pair remote.
  4. On the RC833A FMB1 remote, press and hold the Home button and the OK/Enter button simultaneously for a few seconds until the LED indicator on the remote starts to flash.
  5. Your TV should detect the remote (e.g., "TCL RC833A Remote"). Select it on the TV screen to complete the pairing process.
  6. Once paired, the LED indicator on the remote will stop flashing, and a confirmation message may appear on your TV.

Note: If pairing fails, ensure the remote is close to the TV and repeat the steps. If issues persist, try replacing the batteries.
