4. Setup Guide
4.1 Physical Placement
Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the projector to prevent overheating. Position the projector at a suitable distance from the projection surface (wall or screen) to achieve your desired screen size. Recommended projection distance is 1.8m to 3.0m for screen sizes between 45 to 300 inches.

4.2 Power Connection
Connect the provided power cord to the projector's power input and then plug it into a standard AC100-240V, 50-60Hz electrical outlet.
4.3 Input Connections
The projector supports various input sources:
- **HD (HDMI):** Connect Blu-ray players, game consoles (PS4/360XBO), laptops, or other HDMI-enabled devices using the provided HD cable.
- **USB:** Insert USB drives for direct media playback.
- **AV:** Use the AV cable to connect older devices like DVD players.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off

The RD829 features automatic focus adjustment. The picture will instantly become clear upon startup or movement. If manual adjustment is needed, use the remote control to fine-tune the focus.

5.3 Keystone Correction
The projector supports four-point keystone correction, allowing you to adjust the image shape to be perfectly rectangular even if the projector is not perfectly aligned with the screen. Additionally, it features auto screen alignment and auto obstacle avoidance for an optimal projection effect.

5.4 Screen Mirroring
Easily connect your phone or other devices to the projector for screen mirroring using:

5.5 Media Playback

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Lens
Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe the projector lens. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or cloths that could scratch the lens surface. Do not touch the lens with your fingers.

6.2 Cleaning the Projector Body
Wipe the exterior of the projector with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Ensure no liquid enters the projector's vents or ports.
6.3 Ventilation
Keep the projector's ventilation openings clear of obstructions to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating. Do not place the projector on soft surfaces that might block the vents.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 No Power
- Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the projector and the power outlet.
- Verify the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
- Check if the power indicator light on the projector is on.
7.2 No Image or Distorted Image
- **No Image:** Ensure the correct input source is selected. Check all cable connections (HDMI, AV).
- **Blurry Image:** Allow the auto focus to adjust. If needed, manually adjust focus using the remote.
- **Trapezoidal Image:** Use the four-point keystone correction feature to adjust the image shape.
- **Image too dark/bright:** Adjust brightness and contrast settings in the projector menu. Ensure the room lighting is appropriate for projection.
7.3 No Sound
- Check the volume level on the projector and the connected source device.
