5. Installation and Setup

Important: Installation of this solar inverter should only be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with all local and national electrical codes. Incorrect installation can lead to hazards, damage to equipment, or void the warranty.

5.1. Mounting the Inverter

  • Choose a suitable location that is well-ventilated, protected from direct sunlight, rain, and excessive dust.
  • Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the inverter (10-10.5 kg).
  • Allow sufficient clearance around the inverter for proper airflow and heat dissipation.

5.2. Electrical Connections

Refer to Figure 4.1 for the location of connection terminals. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly polarized.

  1. Battery Connection (4): Connect the battery bank to the "Battery input" terminals. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative). The inverter supports 24 VDC (3.5KW model) or 48 VDC (5.5KW model) battery systems.
  2. PV Input Connection (3): Connect your solar panel array to the "PV input" terminals. Verify that the PV array's open circuit voltage and power are within the inverter's specified limits (Max 500 VDC, 5000W/5500W).
  3. AC Input Connection (1): Connect the AC grid power (if applicable for hybrid operation) to the "AC input" terminal.
  4. AC Output Connection (2): Connect your loads (appliances, home electrical system) to the "AC output" terminal.
  5. Circuit Breaker (5): Ensure the circuit breaker is in the OFF position during all wiring procedures. Turn ON only after all connections are verified.

5.3. Communication Connections

Use the provided USB or RS232 cables to connect the inverter to a computer for monitoring and configuration, if desired. The network cable can be used for remote monitoring via the mobile app.

Various application scenarios for the solar inverter, including wall-mounted installation and connection to a battery module and a house with solar panels.
