1. Introduction and Overview
The RX MULTI Tuya receiver is a versatile device designed to control garage doors, gate automation systems, and other remote-controlled equipment. It is available in two main versions: a WIFI+RF version for smart home integration and an RF-only version for traditional remote control. Both versions support a wide range of operating voltages (AC/DC 9-30V or AC 85-250V) and frequencies (300MHz to 868MHz), making it compatible with a vast majority of remote controls on the market.
This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and programming of your RX MULTI receiver and its compatible remote controls.

Power Input Selector (PIS)
The receiver can operate with AC/DC 9V-30V or AC 85-250V. It is essential to correctly set the Power Input Selector (PIS) according to your power source:
- If the input voltage is greater than 24V, shorten pins 2 & 3.
- If the input voltage is less than 24V, shorten pins 1 & 2.
Wiring Diagram Example
Connect the receiver to your motor and controller as shown in the diagram below. Ensure all connections are secure and follow local electrical codes.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Mobile App Control (WIFI+RF Version Only)
For the WIFI+RF version, you can control your device using the Tuya or Smart Life mobile application.
- Connect to WiFi: Ensure your receiver is powered on and within range of a 2.4G WiFi network. Follow the app's instructions to add the device to your network.
- Remote Monitoring: Once connected, you can open or close the door remotely via the app. The app also provides real-time status updates (open/closed).
- Voice Control: Integrate with voice assistants like Alexa Echo or Google Home for hands-free control.
- Timer Function: Set schedules within the app to automatically open or close your garage door at specific times.
- Countdown Function: Configure a countdown timer for automatic closing or opening.
- Device Sharing: Authorize multiple users (family members) to access and control the device through the app, enhancing convenience and security.

5. Programming Remote Controls
The RX MULTI receiver features 8 DIP switches that allow you to select the correct brand and frequency for the remote control you wish to program.
Programming a New Remote
- Select Brand/Frequency: Identify the brand and frequency of the remote control you want to program. Adjust the 8 DIP switches on the receiver (UP or DOWN) to match the required combination for that remote. For example, for 433.92MHz Flor-s remote controls, move DIP switch 8 UP. Refer to the diagram below for common DIP switch settings.
- Press Learn Button: Press the 'Learn' button on the receiver. The LED indicator will turn on.
- Activate Remote: Press the button on your remote control that you wish to program. The receiver's LED will flash 4 times, indicating successful programming.
- Repeat for Additional Buttons: If your remote has multiple buttons, repeat step 2 and 3 for each button you want to program.
- Second Channel: The programming procedure for the second channel is identical.

7. Troubleshooting
- Remote Control Not Working:
- Ensure the remote control is properly programmed to the receiver (refer to Section 5).
- Check the battery in the remote control (CR2016X2, 3V). Replace if necessary.
- Verify that the DIP switches on the receiver are correctly set for the remote's brand and frequency.
- WIFI+RF Version Not Connecting to App:
- Confirm your WiFi network is 2.4Ghz. The device does not support 5Ghz networks.
- Ensure the receiver is within range of your WiFi router.
- Check that the receiver's power input selector (PIS) is correctly configured for its voltage.
- Restart the receiver and try the pairing process again.
- Compatibility Issues:
- While the receiver supports a broad range of frequencies and code types, specific brand compatibility (e.g., BFT, Alutech) should be verified by checking if their frequency and code type match the receiver's capabilities and DIP switch settings.
- Always refer to the list of explicitly compatible and incompatible remote models provided in Section 1.
- No Response from Device:
- Check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and correct.
- Verify that the receiver is receiving power.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Keep the receiver and remote control clean and dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Environmental Conditions: Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Battery Replacement (Remote Control): If the remote control's range decreases or it stops responding, replace the CR2016X2 (3V) batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
9. User Tips
- Maximum Remotes: The receiver can store programming for up to 400 remote controls, allowing extensive multi-user access.
- Compatibility Verification: Before purchasing or attempting to program, always confirm that your remote control's frequency and code type are supported by the RX MULTI receiver. If your remote is not explicitly listed as compatible, check its specifications against the receiver's supported frequencies and code types (Fixed, Learning, Rolling).
- Seek Assistance: If you encounter difficulties during setup or operation, or if you are unsure about compatibility, contact customer support for a manual or usage video in your local language.
10. Warranty and Support
