1. Product Overview

The Deye LSE-3 LAN Data Collector is an Ethernet-based communication stick designed to integrate with Deye inverters. 4. Setup Instructions

  1. Physical Installation:

    • Carefully align the LSE-3 LAN Data Collector's connector with the inverter's port.
    • Gently push and secure the data collector into place. Ensure a firm connection.

  2. Power Connection: The device draws power directly from the inverter. Ensure the inverter is powered on. The LSE-3 requires DC 5V-15V input at 1W.
  3. Network Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or network switch to the LAN port on the LSE-3 data collector.
  4. Software Setup (Solarman App):
    • Download the 'Solarman' application from your device's app store (iOS/Android).
    • Register an account or log in if you already have one.
    • Follow the in-app instructions to add your new data collector. You will need the unique series number (SN) found on the device label.

  5. Initial Configuration (Web Interface): The LSE-3 supports web-based user configuration. Once connected to the network, you may access its web interface via its IP address for advanced settings. 5. Operating Instructions

Once the LSE-3 LAN Data Collector is successfully set up and connected, it will automatically begin collecting data from your Deye inverter and transmitting it to the Solarman platform.

  • Monitoring: Use the Solarman app or web portal to monitor your PV system's real-time operation, power generation, and historical data.
  • LED Indicators: Observe the LED indicators on the front of the device for status updates:
    • NET: Indicates network connection status.
    • COM: Indicates communication status with the inverter.
    • READY: Indicates the device is operational and ready for data transmission.
  • Remote Control: The Solarman platform allows for remote PV system monitoring and management, enabling efficient distributed power station management.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Firmware Upgrades: The LSE-3 supports remote firmware upgrades. Ensure your device is connected to the internet to receive automatic updates that improve performance and add new features.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Power/LEDs Off:

  • NET LED Not Lit/Flashing Incorrectly:
    • Check the Ethernet cable connection to both the LSE-3 and your router/switch.

    • Restart your router/switch.
  • COM LED Not Lit/Flashing Incorrectly:
    • Ensure the LSE-3 is securely connected to the inverter.
    • Check the inverter's status to ensure it is operating correctly.
  • No Data on Solarman App:
    • Confirm all LEDs (NET, COM, READY) are indicating normal operation.
    • Verify the LSE-3's serial number is correctly registered in the Solarman app.
    • Check your internet connection.
  • Device Not Recognized by Solarman App:
    • Double-check the serial number entered during registration.
    • Ensure the device has a stable internet connection.
    • Try restarting the Solarman app or reinstalling it.
