Maintenance
Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Storage
Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
Battery Care
Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the camera regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health. Do not expose the battery to high temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- Camera not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
- Cannot record video/take photos: Check if a MicroSD card is inserted correctly and has sufficient free space. Format the card if necessary (this will erase all data).
- Poor video/photo quality: Ensure the lens is clean. Check lighting conditions.
- Device unresponsive: Use a thin object (like a paperclip) to press the Reset button hole (refer to Figure 1) to perform a factory reset. This may resolve minor software glitches.
- Short battery life: Ensure the camera is fully charged. Battery performance can degrade over time with usage.
