3. Device Layout and Controls

4.2. Attaching the Antenna and Belt Clip
- Antenna: Screw the antenna clockwise into the connector on top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
- Belt Clip: Align the belt clip with the screw holes on the back of the radio and secure it with the provided screws.

5.1. Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment
- Power On: Rotate the Power/Volume switch clockwise until you hear a click. The display will light up.
- Power Off: Rotate the Power/Volume switch counter-clockwise until you hear a click. The display will turn off.
- Volume Adjustment: Continue rotating the Power/Volume switch clockwise to increase volume, and counter-clockwise to decrease it.

- On the UV-21 Pro V3, long-press the designated side key (refer to Figure 3 for location) to activate the one-key frequency matching function. The display will show "Search...".
- On the other walkie talkie, press the PTT button to make a call.
- Wait for a short period. The UV-21 Pro V3 will search for and automatically match the frequency of the transmitting radio.
5.5. Display and Functions
The 1.77-inch high-definition color screen provides clear information. You can switch between frequency and channel display modes to suit your preference.

The display also shows various function menus and settings, including:
