  1. Connect the DC 5V 2A power adapter to the micro USB port on the back of the host panel.
  2. If using 4G functionality, insert a compatible 4G SIM card into the SIM card slot on the back of the panel.

5.2 Connecting to Wi-Fi

  1. On the alarm panel, enter the settings menu (usually by tapping the gear icon or similar, then entering the admin code).
  2. Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings.
  3. Select 'Smartlink' or 'SoftAp' mode for networking.
  4. Open the Tuya Smartlife or Smart Life app on your smartphone.
  5. Follow the app's instructions to add a new device and connect it to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

5.3 Pairing Wireless Accessories

The system supports up to 100 wireless zones. To pair accessories:

  1. On the alarm panel, enter the settings menu and navigate to 'Device management' or 'Wireless devices'.
  2. Select 'Pair' or 'Add wireless devices'. The panel will enter pairing mode, often indicated by a countdown.
  3. For Remote Controls: Press any button on the remote control. The panel will confirm successful pairing.
  4. For Door Sensors: Separate the two parts of the door sensor (triggering it). The panel will confirm successful pairing.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Arming and Disarming

  • Via Alarm Panel: Tap the 'Arm' or 'Disarm' icons on the touch screen. You may need to enter your admin code.
  • Via Remote Control: Press the 'Arm' or 'Disarm' button on your remote control.
  • Via Smart Life App: Use the 'Arm' or 'Disarm' functions within the app.
  • Voice Control: Integrate with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to arm/disarm using voice commands (e.g., "Alexa, arm security system").

6.2 Zone Types

The system supports 4 types of defense zones:

  • 24 Hour Zone: Always active, triggers an alarm immediately if violated (e.g., smoke detectors).
  • Normal Zone: Active when the system is armed, triggers an alarm if violated (e.g., door/window sensors).
  • Home Zone: Active when the system is armed in 'Home' mode, allowing free movement in certain areas while securing others (e.g., perimeter sensors).
  • Delay Zone: Provides a delay before triggering an alarm after activation, allowing time to disarm the system (e.g., main entrance door).

6.3 Alarm Notifications

Upon an alarm trigger, the system will:

  • Sound the built-in siren (85dB).
  • Send push notifications to the Smart Life app.
  • Send SMS alerts to up to 6 preset numbers.
  • Make phone calls to up to 6 preset numbers.

6.4 Scheduled Arm/Disarm

You can set schedules for automatic arming and disarming of the system through the alarm panel settings or the Smart Life app. This feature helps automate your security routine.

6.5 Multi-Account Management

The security panel supports multi-account and hierarchical management, allowing for 1 administrator and up to 5 visitor accounts. This feature can only be set directly on the security panel, not via the APP.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the alarm panel and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surfaces.

7.2 Battery Replacement

  • PIR Detector: Requires 2 AAA batteries. Replace when the low battery indicator appears on the panel or app.
  • Door Sensor: Requires 1 CR2032 battery. Replace when the low battery indicator appears.
  • Remote Controller: Requires 1 CR2032 battery. Replace when the remote's functionality becomes inconsistent.

Always use new, high-quality batteries for optimal performance.
