2. Package Contents

3. Setup and Installation

Important Safety Note: Always disconnect the motorcycle battery before beginning installation. Remove the fuse (green part) from the power supply cable before connecting to the battery. Reinstall the fuse only after all connections are secure.

Warning: The total load power of the module cannot exceed 260W. Exceeding this limit may damage the controller or motorcycle's electrical system.

Installation Steps:

  1. Connect to Lamps: Connect the extension cables to your auxiliary lamps.
  2. Connect to MLC Controller: Connect the extension cables from the lamps to the appropriate ports on the MLC controller.
  3. Connect MLC to Motorcycle RDC Plug: Locate the RDC plug on your motorcycle and connect the MLC controller. For F-series models, the DWA & RDC Module connects to the same position.
  4. Connect to Battery: Connect the power supply cable (Red-Positive, Black-Negative) to the original motorcycle battery. Ensure the fuse is removed during this step.
  5. Install Fuse: After all connections are secure, install the green fuse into the power supply cable.

4. Operating Instructions

The MLC001 controller integrates with your motorcycle's original controls for intuitive operation.

General Operation:

  • Turning On Spotlights: When the engine is started, press the steering reset button 3 times continuously within 2 seconds to turn on the spotlights. Alternatively, long press the steering reset button for 2 seconds.
  • Turning Off Spotlights: Press the steering reset button 3 times within 2 seconds, or turn off the power lock. Alternatively, long press the steering reset button for 2 seconds.

Mode Adjustment:

  • Brightness Adjustment: Rotate the wheel forward to increase spotlight brightness (10 adjustable levels). Rotate the wheel backward to decrease spotlight brightness (10 adjustable levels).
  • Flash Mode 1 (Simultaneous): Short push the wheel to the right once to enter simultaneous flashing mode (left and right spotlights flash together).
  • Flash Mode 2 (Alternating): Short push the wheel to the right again to enter alternating flashing mode (left and right spotlights flash alternately).
  • Return to Constant Light: Short push the wheel to the right once more to return to the constant light mode.

  • Horn Synchronization: Press the horn, and the spotlights will flash.
  • High Beam Synchronization: Press the high beam button once to synchronize the spotlights to instant high brightness. Keep the high beam button on to maintain synchronized high brightness.
  • Turn Signal Synchronization: Turn on the left turn signal to flash the left spotlights synchronously. The same applies to the right side.
  • Independent Operation: The independent operation of a single group of spotlights also supports the above modes.
