2. Safety Information
Your safety is paramount. The Sunster TB10pro Diesel Air Heater is equipped with several safety features. Always adhere to the following guidelines:
- Carbon Monoxide (CO) Monitoring: The A2422 wireless temperature switch includes a CO monitoring system. Pay close attention to its readings.
- CO Alarm: The system provides a 3-stage CO real-time monitoring with flashing colors and sound alarms:
- 0-299 PPM: Good (No Sound Alarm)
- ≥300 PPM: Warning (Sound Cycle Alarm)
- ≥500 PPM: Danger (Controller controls the switch to turn off)
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation when operating the heater, especially in enclosed spaces. The heater includes a ventilation mode to circulate fresh air.
- Overheat Protection: The device is designed to prevent overheating. Ensure air intake and exhaust are not obstructed.

- Exhaust Pipe: Install the exhaust pipe on the side of the unit. Ensure it is securely fastened and positioned to prevent blockage. The heat protection sleeve should be used on the exhaust pipe.

7.1 Control Methods
The Sunster TB10pro offers multiple ways to control its operation:
- A2409 LCD Switch: The main control panel on the unit.

7.2 A2409 LCD Switch Operation

Buttons:
- DOWN: Decrease value/setting.
- VENTILATION MODE: Activate ventilation function.
- GEAR MODE (MAX MODE): Adjust heating gear or activate max heating.
- TEMPERATURE MODE: Switch to temperature control mode.
- SHUTDOWN BUTTON: Turn off the heater.
- UP: Increase value/setting.
Operation Methods:
- Power On: In shutdown mode, directly press the desired mode button to power on. The LCD screen will light up, displaying the current operating status and data.
- Power Off: In operating status, press the Shutdown button to turn off the heater. The LCD screen will turn off after the shutdown sequence is complete.
- Mode Switching: In operating status, press the mode button to switch between different modes.

After successful startup, press the setting button to switch modes. LEL is the gear mode. Press the setting key again to switch to the next mode. EP is the temperature control mode. RUE is the constant temperature automatic start and stop mode. SUP is the strong heat mode (applicable to some motherboards). And FRN is the ventilation mode (applicable to some motherboards).
- Parameter Adjustment: Press the DOWN/UP buttons to adjust the set gear or temperature.
Function Settings:
- Time Setting: In operating status, long press the Shutdown button for 3 seconds. The LCD screen will show 'F0' in the bottom right corner, entering setup mode. Press UP/DOWN to switch between settings. Press the Ventilation button to enter a setting item. When the item flashes, use UP/DOWN to adjust the content. Time format is HH:MM (24-hour). Press the Shutdown button to exit.
- Broadcast Language Switching: In operating status, long press the DOWN button for 3 seconds. The LCD screen will show 'F4' in the bottom right corner, entering setup mode. Press the Ventilation button to make the language type flash. Use UP/DOWN to switch language types (German, English, Russian, Mute). Factory default is English.
- Temperature Compensation Setting: If the displayed ambient temperature deviates significantly from the actual temperature, you can adjust the compensation value. Factory default is 0℃. In operating status, long press the Shutdown button for 3 seconds, the LCD screen shows 'F0'. Press UP to switch to 'F5'. Press the Ventilation button, the setting value will flash. Use UP/DOWN to adjust the temperature compensation value (-9℃ to 9℃).
- Constant Temperature Function Setting: The constant temperature function can only be enabled or disabled via the app; no separate setting is required on the heater itself.
- Temperature Unit Switching: In operating status, long press the UP button for 3 seconds to cycle between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C). Factory default is Fahrenheit (°F).
- Altitude Unit Switching: In operating status, long press the Shutdown button for 3 seconds, the LCD screen shows 'F0'. Press UP until 'F8' is displayed. Press the Ventilation button, the altitude unit will flash. Use UP/DOWN to switch between Km (kilometers) and Kft (kilofeet). Press the Shutdown button to save. Factory default is Km.
- Backlight Brightness Level Setting: To reduce backlight interference in dark environments, the backlight automatically dims after 120 seconds of inactivity. The dimmed brightness level can be set (0-100). Factory default is 100. In operating status, long press the Shutdown button for 3 seconds, the LCD screen shows 'F0'. Press UP until 'F9' is displayed. Press the Ventilation button, the brightness value will flash. Use UP/DOWN to adjust the value. 100 means no dimming, 0 means backlight off (any button press will turn it on).
- Sub-device Pairing: In shutdown state, simultaneously press and hold the Shutdown button and UP button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The LCD screen will flash 'Add'. Once the sub-device enters pairing mode and pairing is successful, the LCD screen will display 'Suc'. If pairing fails or data is not synchronized, when the LCD screen shows 'Add', long press the DOWN button for 3 seconds until '[L' is displayed to restore factory settings and re-enter pairing mode.
- Ambient Temperature Source: In operating status, long press the Shutdown button for 3 seconds, the LCD screen shows 'F0'. Press UP until 'Fb' is displayed. Press the Ventilation button, the temperature source status in the top right corner will flash. Use UP/DOWN to adjust: 'ON' for sub-device ambient temperature, 'oF' for control panel ambient temperature. Factory default is 'ON'. If set to 'ON' and the sub-device disconnects, the control panel's ambient temperature will be used.
- Remote Control Matching/Clearing:
- Matching: In shutdown state, long press the UP button for 3 seconds. When 'P-1' is displayed in the top right corner of the LCD screen, press any button on the remote control. The control panel will automatically shut down, indicating successful matching.
- Clearing: With the control panel powered off, press and hold the Shutdown button, then connect the power. After about 7 seconds, the LCD screen will display '5[' to clear the remote control matching information.

7.5 Firmware Upgrade (OTA)
In the control panel's power-off state, simultaneously press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons. Then connect the power. After about 7 seconds, the heater will enter OTA mode, and the last four digits of the control panel's ID will be displayed in the upper right corner of the LCD screen. Follow the instructions in the WeChat mini-program "OTA Tools" to complete the upgrade. After the mini-program indicates a successful upgrade, disconnect power for 10 seconds, then reconnect to complete the OTA upgrade.
