Flagpole Lock with Vibration
The flagpole lock feature helps to accurately measure the distance to the flag, even with background objects. When the flagpole is recognized and locked, the flagpole icon flashes, the rangefinder vibrates, and the measurement data is displayed.

Figure 8: Display view with flagpole lock and vibration details.
How to Trigger Flagpole Lock and Vibration:
- Ensure you are in Golf Mode.
- Aim at the background behind the flag.
- Press and hold the Measure button (this enters Scan Mode).
- Slowly move the rangefinder from the background towards the flag.
- The rangefinder will recognize the flag, and the flag icon will flash, accompanied by a vibration.
- The display will show the distance to the flag and the slope compensation distance (if enabled).

4. Precautions and Troubleshooting
General Precautions
- This rangefinder is designed for long-distance measurements, with a minimum measurement distance of 5 meters.
- Glass can reflect the laser beam and affect measurement results. Do not measure through glass.
- In low-light conditions at night, additional lighting may be required to view the readings, as the eyepiece display is not illuminated.
- Rain, fog, and dusty conditions may obstruct laser transmission and affect the maximum measurement distance.
- When measuring objects, select light-colored buildings as the farthest target as possible. Complex vegetation on mountains can obstruct the reflection of laser signals.
- The device supports 6x magnification, which can be adjusted by rotating the eyepiece knob.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
- No Reading / Inaccurate Reading: Ensure the target is within the minimum (5m) and maximum range. Check for obstructions like glass, heavy fog, or rain. Aim for light-colored, solid targets if possible.
- Flagpole Lock Not Activating: Ensure you are in Golf Mode. Follow the steps for 'How to Trigger Flagpole Lock and Vibration' precisely, including scanning from background to flag.
- Display Not Visible in Low Light: The eyepiece display is not illuminated. Use external lighting to view readings in dark conditions.
- Device Not Powering On: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a USB-C charger and allow it to charge for some time before attempting to power on again.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your REVASRI NK-600 rangefinder, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe the exterior of the device. For lenses, use a lens cleaning cloth and solution specifically designed for optics. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the lenses.
- Storage: Store the rangefinder in its protective case or pouch when not in use. Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- Battery Care: Recharge the battery regularly, even if the device is not used frequently, to maintain battery health. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
- Avoid Impact: Protect the device from drops and impacts, which can damage internal components and affect accuracy.
7. User Tips
- For best results, ensure a steady hand or use a stable surface when taking measurements, especially at longer distances.
- When using flagpole lock, a slow, deliberate scan from behind the flag to the flag itself often yields the most accurate and consistent results.
- Remember to switch off the slope compensation feature if you are playing in a tournament where it is prohibited.
- Keep the lenses clean for clear viewing and accurate measurements. Dust or smudges can significantly impact performance.
