5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your FREEWOLF M68 SE keyboard, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cable Care: Handle the detachable Type-C cable with care. Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling that could damage the cable or the port.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the keyboard in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid Liquids: Keep liquids away from the keyboard to prevent damage to the internal components.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your FREEWOLF M68 SE keyboard, refer to the following troubleshooting tips:

6.1 Keyboard Not Responding

  • Check Connection: Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try plugging it into a different USB port on your computer.
  • Restart Computer: Sometimes a simple computer restart can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Test on Another Device: If possible, test the keyboard on another computer to determine if the issue is with the keyboard or your original computer's setup.

6.2 Backlighting Issues

  • Lights Off: Press FN + ESC to cycle through lighting modes (On, Breathing, Off). Ensure it's not set to 'Off'.
  • Brightness Too Low/High: Use FN + ↑ to increase brightness and FN + ↓ to decrease brightness.
  • Breathing Effect Speed: Adjust the breathing light effect speed with FN + PG UP (slow down) and FN + PG DN (speed up).

6.3 Keys Not Registering / Ghosting

  • Clean Keys: Ensure there's no debris or obstruction under the keycaps.
  • NKRO Feature: The keyboard supports 22-key rollover. If more than 22 keys are pressed simultaneously, some might not register. This is normal for the specified NKRO.
