This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your camera to ensure optimal performance and security for your home. The Neye S5 offers advanced features such as AI automatic tracking, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) functionality, and high-definition video recording, making it an ideal solution for indoor surveillance.

NOTE: Due to different production batches, the camera may be shipped in dual-screen or triple-screen versions. The functionality remains the same, only the appearance differs. Please refer to the received goods.

3. Physical Overview
Familiarize yourself with the different parts of your Neye S5 camera:
- Infrared Lamp: For night vision functionality.
- Reset Button: Used to reset the camera to factory settings.
- SD Card Slot: For local storage of video recordings.
- Microphone (Built-in): For audio input and two-way communication.
- Power Interface: Connects to the power adapter.
- Speaker: For audio output and two-way communication.

4. Setup Guide
4.1 Initial Power-Up
- Connect the power adapter to the camera's power interface.
- Plug the power adapter into a power outlet. The camera will power on and begin its startup sequence.
- Wait for the camera to complete its system startup. You will hear a voice prompt: "System startup has been completed."
- The camera will then prompt: "Please configure Wi-Fi."
4.2 Wi-Fi Configuration (App Setup)
To configure the camera, you will need to download the Neye 3C app on your smartphone.
- Download the App: Search for "Neye 3C" in your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store) and install it.
- Add Device: Open the Neye 3C app. Click the "+" icon to add a new device.
- Select Smart Add: Choose the "Smart Add" option.
- Proceed to Next: Click "NEXT" on the Sonic Mode screen.
- Enter Wi-Fi Password: Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password. Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Configure: Click "Configure" and stand within 1 meter of the device. The app will begin the configuration process.
- Wait for Connection: The camera will provide voice prompts during configuration. You will hear "Wi-Fi password has been obtained" and then "Wi-Fi connection successfully."
- Add New Device: In the app, click "New device" and then "OK" to add the camera to your device list.
- Connect Device: Click on the newly added device to connect and view the live feed.
4.3 Important Cautions for Wi-Fi Configuration
- The device should be placed within 10 meters of the router when configuring.
- The phone media volume should be turned to the maximum, and keep the phone and camera within 50cm during configuration.
- The device does not support 5G Wi-Fi signals. Please ensure you are connecting to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network.
- The device does not support hidden Wi-Fi networks.
- The Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password cannot contain Chinese characters or other special characters.
5. Operating Your Camera
5.1 360° Panoramic View & PTZ Control
The Neye S5 features horizontal/vertical dual motor pan tilt, allowing for a 360-degree panoramic view without dead angles. Control the camera's movement directly from the Neye 3C app.

5.2 Automatic Motion Tracking & Alerts
The camera is equipped with AI automatic tracking. When detecting an unwelcome approach, the built-in siren will activate, and a spotlight will turn on to deter intruders. You will also receive notifications on your connected device.


5.3 Night Vision Capabilities
The Neye S5 provides ultra-clear night vision, capturing detailed images even in dim light environments. It supports both infrared night vision and full-color night vision, enhanced by WDR wide dynamic technology and a large aperture for precise image details under backlight and low light conditions.


5.4 Two-Way Audio & Customized Voice
Communicate with the camera through the app using the bidirectional voice intercom feature. Chat freely anytime and anywhere, with efficient noise reduction audio algorithms. The system also supports customized voice content for different scenes, allowing you to set personalized messages.


5.5 AP Hotspot for Internet Outage Monitoring
The camera comes with an AP hotspot Wi-Fi feature, which allows you to monitor and view the camera feed on your phone even if the camera is disconnected from your main network during installation or an internet outage.


6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the Neye 3C app for available firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security enhancements.
- Placement: Ensure the camera is placed in a stable location, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
7. Troubleshooting
- Q: Camera fails to connect to Wi-Fi.
- A: Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz, not 5G. Keep the camera and phone within 1 meter of the router during setup. Maximize phone volume during configuration. Check that your Wi-Fi name and password do not contain special characters or Chinese characters. The device does not support hidden Wi-Fi networks.
- Q: No voice prompt during setup.
- A: If the camera does not prompt "Please configure Wi-Fi," press and hold the reset button until you hear a "beep" sound to release it and try again.
- Q: Image is blurry or unclear.
- A: Clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure there is adequate lighting in the monitoring area, or check night vision settings.
- Q: Motion detection is not working.
- A: Check the motion detection settings in the Neye 3C app. Ensure the sensitivity is set appropriately and the detection area is correctly configured.
