6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To clean your mouse, gently wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the mouse's surface or internal components.
6.2 Battery Care
The mouse has a built-in rechargeable 600mAh battery. To prolong battery life:
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Charge the mouse when the battery indicator is low.
- If storing the mouse for an extended period, charge it to about 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.
6.3 Storage
When not in use, store the mouse in a clean, dry environment away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Ensure the 2.4GHz USB receiver is securely stored in its slot at the bottom of the mouse to prevent loss.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Mouse Not Responding
- Ensure the mouse is turned ON using the switch at the bottom.
- Check the battery level and charge the mouse if necessary.
- For 2.4GHz connection: Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
- For Bluetooth connection: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is in Bluetooth mode. Re-pair the mouse if necessary.
- Try restarting your computer/device.
7.2 Side Buttons Not Working on Mac/iPad OS
As noted in the specifications, some side button shortcuts (e.g., File Explorer, Back to Desktop) are designed for Windows OS and may not function on Mac OS, iPad OS, or other operating systems. The Light Switch button should still function.
7.3 Intermittent Connection
- Ensure the mouse is within the 10-meter wireless range of your device.
- Minimize interference from other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other Bluetooth devices).
- Ensure the mouse is fully charged.
8. User Tips
- Ergonomic Comfort: Take short breaks during long work sessions to stretch your wrist and hand, further enhancing the ergonomic benefits of the vertical design.
- DPI Customization: Experiment with different DPI settings to find the sensitivity that best suits your workflow and screen size. Higher DPI is often preferred for larger monitors.
- Power Saving: The mouse features intelligent power saving. If you won't be using it for an extended period, turn it off using the switch at the bottom to conserve battery.
- Multi-Device Workflow: Utilize the dual 2.4GHz and Bluetooth modes to quickly switch between your desktop PC and a laptop or tablet, streamlining your multi-device setup.
