1. Introduction

The Ohayo S5 is a versatile and portable wireless speaker designed to deliver immersive sound wherever you go. Featuring IPX7 waterproof and dustproof technology, dynamic RGB lighting, long-lasting battery life, and hands-free calling, the S5 is your ideal companion for any adventure or daily use.

3. Product Overview

Controls:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
  • Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause music.
  • Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume.
  • Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume.
  • Next Track (Volume Up long press): Press and hold '+' to skip to the next track.
  • Previous Track (Volume Down long press): Press and hold '-' to go to the previous track.

4. Setup and First Use

4.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker's Type-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. The speaker is fully charged in approximately 3 hours.

Note: Ensure the speaker is fully charged before first use for optimal battery performance.

4.2 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button until you hear an audible prompt and the RGB lights illuminate.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until you hear an audible prompt and the RGB lights turn off.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the Ohayo S5 speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing light.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Ohayo S5" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the light will stop flashing.

The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device is within range and Bluetooth is enabled.

4.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve a more immersive stereo sound experience, you can pair two Ohayo S5 speakers together.

  1. Ensure both Ohayo S5 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Power button. You will hear a prompt indicating TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
  • Volume Up/Down: Press the '+' or '-' buttons.
  • Next Track: Press and hold the '+' button.
  • Previous Track: Press and hold the '-' button.

5.2 RGB Light Effects

The Ohayo S5 features dynamic RGB lights that sync with the music. You can cycle through different lighting modes:

  • To switch between light modes (Fade, Breathing, Transient) or turn the lights on/off, simultaneously press the '+' (Volume Up) and '-' (Volume Down) buttons.

5.3 Hands-Free Calling

With its built-in microphone, the Ohayo S5 allows for convenient hands-free calling when connected to your smartphone.

  • Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
  • End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button.

5.4 AUX Input

Connect an external audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable (not included) to the speaker's AUX port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

5.5 TF Card Playback

Insert a TF (MicroSD) card loaded with MP3, FLAC, APE, or WAV audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically detect the card and begin playing music.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
  • Ensure all ports are dry before charging or using in wet conditions.

6.2 Waterproof Care (IPX7)

The Ohayo S5 is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. To maintain its waterproof integrity:

  • Ensure the rubber flap covering the charging and AUX ports is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
  • Do not expose the speaker to saltwater or other chemicals, as this may damage the seals.
  • After exposure to water, especially chlorinated or saltwater, rinse the speaker with fresh water and dry it thoroughly before charging.

7. Troubleshooting
