2. Safety Information

6. Setup Instructions
6.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the device and plug it into a wall outlet. The 'CHG' indicator will light up during charging and turn off when fully charged.
6.2 Connecting to Satellite Dish (DVB-S/S2)
- Ensure the device is powered off.
- Connect the LNB cable from your satellite dish to the 'LNB IN' port on the top of the WS-6980.
- Power on the device.

6.3 Connecting to Terrestrial/Cable Antenna (DVB-T/T2/C)
- Ensure the device is powered off.
- Connect your terrestrial or cable antenna cable to the 'ANT IN' port on the top of the WS-6980.
- Power on the device.
6.4 Connecting to an External Display (Optional)
You can connect the WS-6980 to a larger screen for better viewing:
- HDMI: Use an HDMI cable to connect the 'HDMI OUT' port on the device to your TV or monitor's HDMI input.
- AV: Use the provided AV cable to connect the 'AV OUT' port (if available, typically via a multi-port adapter) to your TV's AV input.

7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Powering On/Off
Toggle the power switch located on the top panel to turn the device on or off.
